Oh my gosh I was just coming here to post a new thread about Mad Men!!! I freaking love this show! It's the best drama on TV since The Sopranos. And the premiere last night didn't disappoint!
Damages, I watched casually last year, Glenn Close was of course fantastic! But I thought the supporting cast was wonderful as well. I'm kind of mad that it won't be back until early next year, lol.
And then 30 Rock... my favorite show on television right now! It is soooo fantastic. Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey are hilarious together. Comedy genius! I can't wait to get the season 2 DVD in October because they're going to have the episode "Secrets & Lies" performed LIVE! Woah. And there's also going to be like, ten audio commentaries, so yeah.
I'm so excited to find another Carrie Fan who likes these shows... especially Mad Men and 30 Rock!!!

Damages is fantastic! I got hooked on it from the very beginning, completely by accident. I was channel surfing and stopped on the end of some show that preceeded Damages. I kept that channel on when the series premiere of Damages started...and never stopped watching it! lol
30 Rock is good, too. I hope the ratings pick up next season.
I hate that NBC never shows reruns of 30 Rock! While I can flip on the tube any day of the week and see multiple episodes of The Office... it just really annoys me.
But with all the press 30 Rock has gotten with the Emmys (and hopefully NBC will run promos during the Olympics), my fingers are crossed that their ratings will go up next season.
By the way, I read that Mad Men's ratings for the season premiere more than doubled from last season's average.
I forgot about last night's episode of Mad Men because I was so engrossed in the Olympics. Thank God AMC replays it at 1AM, lol. So last night's episode was pretty good. I <3 January Jones!
Anybody watch the Damages marathon last week on FX? I watched the first couple of episodes and the last couple of episodes and it really reminded me of how great this show was. I may have to get the DVD. I don't know if it's out yet, though. Heh.

I always feel so bad for Peggy. The girl among the boys, but I do love the show. My bf and I watch it together, and I always have to say, "I love the way Don looks, but if you ever start running around like that, you're in big trouble." However, I think he's good and scared to keep up his affairs after last week!
Ooh, so this thread is pretty slow, but man did you guys see tonight's episode?! Ahh, Betty finally stood up to Don and it was awesome. I'm so glad that the commercial with Jimmy in it made her realize what a jerk Don is, because I was worried she was just going to realize what a nut Jimmy is.
I compare this episode to a subtle "Whitecaps"... and boy did I love "Whitecaps"!
