Thread: I just need some prayers...

It's long, sorry. Lmfao.


But, I'd just like to ask if you all can pray for my best friend- I've posted about this before but it's a little worse now. Basically he lost like 80 pounds, like in a healthy way, and he's really self conscious about his weight. He did tell me before about how he's scared to eat and stuff cause he's scared of gaining the weight back, but he kinda got better with the eating thing- at least that's what he made it seem like to me.

Just recently he's been saying how I need to eat healthier and stuff, haha, but he's been joking around saying, "Eat all this healthy stuff. Then go throw up and you'll lose 20 pounds by June!" And I'd be like "No thanks." and he'd always say like, "Good, I was just testing you!" and stuff like that. But then he told me that he actually does throw up and stuff, plus he like gained 11 pounds or something and he's been freeeaking out and been like, "Omg I'm so fat, what if I gain all this weight back, I didn't do all that work to gain all of it back." and stuff like that.

He was over at my house today, then I was just talking to him after he got home, and he was like, I should tell you this, I didn't wanna tell you cause I didn't want you to get mad. And he told me that like he's been feeling really sick whenever he eats, and he feels like he needs to puke, and that's why he always does- plus I think a little bit of the weight thing is part of it. And he told me that today he ate the most he's eaten in days, since he had both lunch and dinner at my house today. I told him that it's probably because he's not eating right and he's throwing it up usually and his body's not functioning normally, which is why he always feels like crap. I also told him that the reason he gained weight is probably because of the throwing up and not eating right, and he's probably gonna gain more. I think that really impacted him, thank God. I was like, "You really need to stop." He said he knows, and he's been trying to, but it's like a habit and he usually feels better- like not feeling really really sick anymore- after he does and stuff. And he said he doesn't as much as he used to, which, is a good thing and hopefully it only gets better. Then he was like, "I need to tell you something, but I don't want you to get mad." And he told me that while he was at my house today he even threw up- and the thing that kills me is he sounded like, scared that I'd be pissed at him, even though he knows me, and he knows I'd never get mad at him for it, so on top of allll that, he's scared of people finding out because he knows he's in a bad place but can't fix it, and he's really worried about how someone is going to react.

I used the whole, "Will you please try, really hard, for me?" thing, and he said he would, and I believe him. Plus I told him that I really think he should start seeing the counselor he was planning on going to in the first place, but ended up not going to.

But that's where the prayers come in. If you could just pray that he's able to get back into a healthy way of maintaining his weight and stuff, cause if he can do that, I know he'll feel so much better, and I really hope he can get the confidence back. Cause honestly, he looks awesome, he's no where near fat, and I mean, come on. He lost 80 pounds in like six months just by exercising and eating healthy. That's awesome.

So yeah- I'd really, reallyy appreciate it if you could all pray for him, and for me, cause obviously I'm the one he trusts with it and wants the help from. I mean, he didn't even tell his boyfriend until he asked me if he should tell him. And all his boyfriend said was "You need to start eating and you should go to the doctor." Which is like the least helpful thing he could have said right now, gahh. Haha.
