There is a forum for this purpose
Note: My link isn't working either. Go to the "about the band " forum
So will the current band members be retained for the next tour?
In 2007, when Carrie was making CR she kept the band busy with ACMs, AI, CMT Awards, CMA Fest, country fairs and festivals.
I don't think so butl. The band needs to make a living even if Carrie isn't touring.
If you go to the Talk About The Band forum, scroll down to where it says Display Options and you can set the option to go back to the beginning....

^ Thanks for that! Awesome band she has! I love love Ashley but Jimmy's done a great job as well. And gotto give props to all her back up vocalists coz dang gammit! All her songs are hard to sing - and she manages to cover even harder songs. LOL
Hopefully they'd get to be around when she tours next time. It was pretty hella funny when they pranked her on stage during their last CR stop.![]()
♥ Sexy Carrie, FTW! ♥
can I ask who is the band leader now? I remember that it was M.Oakley...but who it is now?
Best singer-best band!
Great band!!!
Well-this is actually entirely up to Carrie and her people. The leader is generally on salary, so when they aren't touring, he's still getting paid. I don't know about the other folks in Carrie's band, but some artists do chose to pay their entire band a salary to keep them fed while there is a break. It's a good sign that we've seen all the same band faces for these random performances (AI, etc)...I get the sense that all might be back for the next tour.
I'd like to see Jimmy Herman the Violin Player step up on some country songs and do some "fiddlin" solo work To bring out the country in Carrie.I remember on AI how she really was a Star on "Sin Wagon" and "God Fearing Women Get The Blues"She was at her best then.
