I am PRAYING that this means he's hiring Bill Laimbeer as head coach. omg omg omg pleaseeeee. Because Bill quit his job as the head coach of the Detroit Shock and something tells me he knew all along that Dumars wanted him to run his Pistons team.

I think that the guy Dumars wanted was Boozer and when he didn't opt out, Joe went with his backup plan.
As for the coaching job, it sounds like its Avery's job if he wants it.

i'd rather we save that money, tank a season, get the #1 pick, and get true premiere FAs next off season.
no one's gonna win with a core of Gordon and Villanueva. and its not as if we have a coach in place and the coach was on board with the GM with the signings.
