Okay, this may come off as cheesy, and if it does, my profuse apologies, but I think this turned out rather cool. One of my fave songs off SH is "We're Young And Beautiful". While listening in my car today, I started singing it as if it was a duet and made up lyrics to go in between the spaces of the "official" lyrics. They are either repeats of the lyrics or changed to come from a male perspective as if the guy and Carrie were singing to one another. The regular font is Carrie's line, the italicized are the guy's and the bolded lines are when they are singing together. Take a look, try singing it with the added lyrics if you want and tell me what you think. I'd also be interested in which male country singer you think would make a good duet partner for Carrie on this song. My vote is for Toby Keith or Billy Currington.

Also, I don't see how someone would have time to say those lines with the pacing of the regular song.
There is. The guy's lines overlaps a bit with the girl's line.
It did seem a bit cheesy to me too (hence the first line of my original post), but parts seemed kind of cool too. I would definitely take out the very last line I added but kept it in to see what you all thought.
Note: I don't think the song needs to be changed at all. It was just a concept....you don't know unless you ask, right?
