But Country is def. first, followed by a close second with rock/alternative. Thenn Punk, R&B/Rap, Soul, Pop & Techno/Electronic.

The only new/mainstream country music I listen to are females.
Other than that, I like folk music (from europe), folk metal, occasionally black metal.

Pop is definitely my #1, but country & rock/alternative are close behind If I were to list my 10 favorite artists, I would say that like 6-7 of them are pure pop, sooo yeah.
I've been getting into country a LOT more recently... I never really listened to it (besides Carrie, and a few crossover artists like Shania Twain and Faith Hill) until this year, now I live on the country stations!!!! It's just that living in Massachusetts and having parents that were never huge country fans, I just wasn't brought up listening to it and kind of had to discover it on my own.

Country is my #1 by far.
Always has been, always will be.
Besides that, the only genres I really ever listen to are contemporary Christian and rock. Not a big pop or rap fan.

Anything real. Nothing overproduced, overmixed, etc. Artists like Chris Knight, Miranda Lambert, Jason Reeves, Pat Green, Randy Rogers Band, Radney Foster, Kenny Chesney's beach cd, etc are what you find in my car.

country and rock are my favorites for sure, there's no way I could pick one or the other. I like some pop stuff, some R&B, some punk. Not really a fan of rap or techno. I like when all the instruments and vocals are the main focus of a song and when the lead vocal actually has talent and all you hear isn't back ups. I just don't like when there's all this weird techno and strange noises going on in the background.

Since Carrie is a country artist...country will win.
I hate country music, but I LOVE carrie (odd I know).
I'm more of an alternative/rock kinda guy.
With some pop mixed in there as well!
