Thread: Demo of "Lord Help Me"

I love this song. I can really see this being a single. It may even have some cross-over potential. Not sure though. But I love it Ahhh!! This is so exciting!!! I want to hear more demos!!!

This is very convenient that it's on the same myspace as Oklahoma Wind because I can listen to both without changing the site. haha even though they are like total opposite songs.

I'm not so sureI like it. It has a similar feel as "Flat On The Floor" but I don't feel it's as good. Well maybe it'll grow but upon first listen I hope they find better... the songs kinda all over the place...

i actually prefer this to FOTF.

Im not sure, i think that both Oklahoma Wind and Lord Help Me are good songs, but im not hooked on them yet,
i want to here carrie sing them, her voice would b great for both, and i guess that is what they are missing that little something special that carries voice has that makes a song great.

I see the similarities to FOTF. The lyrics are somewhat similar as is the general theme. I like LHM wayyyy more than FOTF. I liked FOTF, I LOVE LHM. I also think that LHM has more crossover potential than FOTF did. It's definitely a country song, but it has a sound that I think could appeal to more than just country music fans.

Its kinda hard to listen to these demos w/o hearing Carrie singing them tho.

idk. i don't like how it's so like pitchy and changes different keys so quickly. i can't really say anything bad before i hear carrie sing it though because she makes every song amazing!

I dont think theres any good reason to have Demos of songs that are gonna be on the album available to listen to!It makes no sence to me!

I prefer Oklahoma Wind but this is an amazing upbeat song, I love it!

I totally agree with you Chuckerwood, I means, if it is released then there will be comparison, like oh I like the demo better, also it takes the excitement away because you know the song all ready. Could it be those are songs that she already rejected for the album, I hope not because these are good songs, but maybe it's not the best for her album. I duuno let's just hope they are!
