I'm a baseball junkie!! So, the D-Rays are on a roll [when Hammel isn't pitching...]. Edwin Jackson has the best ERA in the whole country for the month of July...who woulda thunk it?! Just a few months ago, he held the title of Ed-no-win Jackson, due to his previous suckishness. Haha. But, the dude is stellar. He's only been pitching for 3 years [used to be an outfielder]! He's got a BRIGHT career ahead of him. Sheilds and Kazmir are other great pitchers. And thank GOD we're getting an actual bullpen! Crawford and Upton are BEASTS at the plate.
10-0 Rays against A's! Bottom of the 7th! Sheilds is STILL pitching. Barely thrown 70 pitches. GREAT night. =]

Uh the Astros have almost as bad of a record as Tampa but Tampa's talent is playing better than their record..unlike Houston And I think Tampa will be a contender one of these days...Houston needs help lol.
Yeah, we can only go up from here! This is only our 10 year anniversary [before TB, I was a diehard Marlin..but they don't broadcast here anymore]. We'll get to .500 next season. I promise. Our talent is getting so much better, I have HIGH hopes for next season. The good thing is that our record is worse than the team. If we have fantastic pitching, our hitters won't get it done, if we have great hitting, the pitching will get horrible. But tonight, it's all together. ..Beating the A's!!! ...We only beat the good teams. =[

Detroit Tigers fan here! I've been one since i was like, 4 years old i had tickets for the game today, but there were tornadoes & severe storms all around the area, so i stayed in my basement i have tickets for monday too we need to start winning though...i hate this slump we're in. no, it's not a slump..it's a collapse.
Astros are the same almost..we can beat the good teams,then get swept by the bad teams...but then we get swept by a good team...
The Astros are worse than the Devil Rays when it comes to overall how the teams are playing...LOL
Haha, same here! But, we're slowly getting better. Which is a VERY good thing. This is the best thing that's happened to this area since the Bucs won the Superbowl a few years ago. ..For your sake, I hope the Astros get better soon! Haha.

I think it'll be Boston and at this point,Arizona. I know,crazy,but they are playing the best ball in the NL. Boston will win 4 games to 1. Arizona is like my favorite to win it next year,but they just dont have that experience. Boston in 5.

I would LOVE to be able to brag about my team... however, I'm a Jays fan, so bragging is not something I've been able to do lately.
It's been so frusturating to watch them this year... SO SO SO frusturating. Our whole lineup has a heck of a lot of potential, but almost every guy has had a bad year. The numbers from almost every guy are way below expectations. They're still finding ways to win some games, but it's all for naught at this point. Ugh. The life of a Toronto sports fan.

ahh the tigers won it in the 11th!!! the game was delayed by 4 hours, then lasted for 4 hours & 25 minutes. guillen ended it with a walk off home run at 3:30 EST!!! that was awesome

yeah, but i think Eric Bedard from the orioles will be right up there. and webb has that whole consecutive shutout innings thing (that was recently broken) so that doesnt hurt
