Everything We Know About The 4th Album

    COLLABORATORS:

    01. David Hodges:

    02. Hillary Lindsey
    :

In addition to the above tweet Carrie was spotted on February 7th dining with Lindsey & Hodges at King Roads Cafe in Studio City, California. Pics can be found here.

    03. Kara DioGuardi
    :

Kara recently confirmed during an interview with Matt Carter that she would be working with Carrie in the near future.

The full interview can be found here.
So I can't do a Kara DioGuardi interview without asking who you're working with both now and in the future...

I just did some stuff with Theory of a Dead Man, I’ve been working with Jason Derulo, went to Nashville and worked with Luke Bryan … I’m going to be working with Adam Levine of Maroon 5. So I’m still doing my thing. I have Carrie Underwood [coming up] in a few weeks.

    04. Luke Laird
    :

Luke confirmed that he would be writing with Carrie soon in an interview with WZTV FOX 17.

    05. Lori McKenna
    :

    Country Weekly interview
confirms that Carrie has recently recorded a song of Lori's. However, she is unsure as to whether it will appear on the upcoming album or not.

    06. Tom Douglas:

    07. Ryan Tedder:

    08. Marti Frederiksen

You should probably check out the Play On Era thread in the Chart section.

I'll also keep checking the databases, and I will add new potential songs to the Songwriting page I made for our Wiki .

Unfortunately, There have been several big DJs reporting that the PO Era is done and there wont be a 5th single.

Anyways, I am getting so excited for some New Carrie music. I am just itching to find out some possible song titles and Carrie co-writes for the album 4. Above all, can't wait to find out if OW is going to be included.

Are you going to update the first post with the list of new co-writes? You could start with the other two songs that were written with Dave Hodges and Hilary Lindsey for the Narnia movie. Carrie mentioned that one of them might make the new album. I think they were "Distant Lullaby" and "See You Again".
"Thank you for that ‘Captain Obvious’ sense of humor because you know what, we not only hit the high notes, you forgot to mention we generally hit the ‘right’ notes as well."
-Kelly Clarkson to Scott Borchetta about American Idol artists
    Thanks so much Danielle!

Updated. It looks kinda messy right now. But, when we get more info I'll make it look all nice.

I wish Carrie would answer our pleas and record "Alone". If not for her own album, for a tribute or something

Are these new ones or old ones? I don't remember seeing them before:

Listed as a writer on BMI:

    • Butterflies (Mike Elizondo, Brett James, Carrie Underwood)
    • He Rides Away (Mike Elizondo, Brett James, Carrie Underwood)
    • Little Red Flags (Natalie Hemby, Luke Laird, Carrie Underwood)
    • Same Old Song and Dance (Marv Green, Carrie Underwood, Phillip Brian White)
    • Starting Now (Barry G Dean, Travis Meadows, Carrie Underwood)
    • This Song is Not About You (Marcus Hummon, James Darrell Scott, Carrie Underwood)
    • What Else You Got (Marv Green, Steven McEwan, Carrie Underwood)

Listed as a performer on ASCAP:

    • Louisiana (Gerald Dallas Davidson, Hillary Lee Lindsay, James E McCormick)

(Is there any way of finding out the date the songs were added?)

^ Those are all old. I've seen 'em all before.

As for your question..you can't find the exact date they were added but you can use the BMI Work # on the right side to determine at what period of time they were added. For example: 'What Else You Got' which was written for Some Hearts # is 7761367 whereas 'There's A Place For Us' # is 12158491. So basically, the higher the number the more recent the entry.
