After 30 years of living in New York, and city girl by default, I'm grateful to be moving to Florida by early December at the latest. Change may be good.
As a Floridian let me give you some advice invest in bug spray and sunblock. Sell your winter jackets unless you have family up north or something. If you have a snow plow leave it trust me you'll never use in Florida. If you don't like tea learn to like it cause drinks of choice are usually water, or tea.
Lol. I love sweet tea, not too crazy about Florida's water, but I have been to Florida before. I have my brother and I have always wanted to celebrate Christmas in Florida again. It gets hot. I won't miss the snow.
You might not miss the snow but when its 80 degrees in mid December you'll be missing the cold that came with the snow.
