What I hear I really really like!!! Really like "Hey Girl" and wish it had gotten more notice! Just a nice easy song to listen to and his voice is just perfect for it. Heard rarely on radio. Looking forward to hearing the whole album. Don't really know much background on Billy but have always been drawn to his music. Didn't he open for Carrie long time ago and he didn't feel like their music meshed or am I thinking of someone else?

    I like him alot.

Like, way more than alot of the guys in country.

I think one of the reasons I gravitate toward him is I dont understand how and why he can have such solid continuous success and still get ignored by the industry for the most part.

I saw him at the Hollywood Bowl with Carrie and he did a really great job. I liked him alot.

I tend to like all of his music. His singing is standard but still enough of a quality that I think it sticks out.

I just wish he got alittle more attention.

Agree! His last album got 4 #1s! He is touring a lot! I would love him to get a Male Vocalist of The Year nomination next year. He deserves it!

    See, this is it.

And I am sorry, but it points right back to the politics in country music.
Everyone thinks I am just obsessed with carrie having success (which I am, ha ha haha), but the bigger truth is, it is not fun or fair to play a game that is rigged!

and here is a guy that is a perfect example of it. 4 #1 singles from one album and this is how he is treated??

But Eric Church gets Album of the year for repeating till dilirium "springsteen"??? Seriously??

I love "People Are Crazy" it stands up as a solid country song as well as any.

Also, "Right Back Here to Me" or whatever its called. I mean really solid recurrent music!

And he is like the red-headed step child of country. No offense to redheads (they are my favorite, hee hee hee).

Billy Currington is Ready to Make People Smile With "We Are Tonight" Album Filled With "Happy Songs

This week (Tuesday, September 17), Billy Currington's highly anticipated new album, We Are Tonight, will hit stores. The album's lead single, "Hey Girl," remains in heavy rotation at country radio as it inches its way closer to the top of the singles chart while continuing to win new fans over day after day.

The 10-track collection of songs is Currington's fifth studio album, and the singer says the project was designed to put a smile on the listener's face.

“I’m hoping that by the end of the day when they’re done listening to it, that they feel a sense of joy and peace and everything that I felt while we were making the album,” says Currington. “I have 10 songs on there, and they’re all, to me, happy songs. Back when we were recording the album, I had one that was kind of a sad song, a broken-heart song, and listening to the album, that was the one thing that threw me off, personally, about the album. I couldn’t get through the rest of it after I heard that one sad song. It just didn’t fit for me. So, I ejected that song and added ‘Hallelujah’ to it, which made for ten happy songs.”

We Are Tonight will also feature a duet with country music legend Willie Nelson on the track “Hard to Be a Hippie," which gives Currington just one more reason to smile when reflecting on the project.

"I have a peace and a sense of happiness when I listen to the whole project," notes Currington. "I’m hoping everyone that hears it walks away with the same feelings."

    Thats very cool.

That video of Party for Two reminds me why Shania was so popular.

She is such a nartual. And it doesnt hurt that the camera loves her so much.

As for him, he doesn't have a bad angle either does he.
