FINALLY! SO VERY EXCITED ABOUT THIS!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

She was definitely my pick to win AI season 10. But I guess it doesn't really matter, because she is about to become HUGE anyways

Did anybody hear her sing the Stones's song "Wild Horses" with Slash?

Freaking douches. Is anybody else getting an error message on the "Free" video?

She sure has the voice to make it but that doesn't always mean anything if you can't attract a fan base.

Very clear audio/video of Free from the same event as above:
104.3 MYFM New Music Night - Haley Reinhart "Free" - YouTube

I really like Free, but I don't know if radio will actually play it. I'm sure she'll at least get a chance to promote the song/album on Idol this season, so that should give her some good exposure. I hope the best for Haley, but I don't think it will be an easy road for her.

Don't know if she'll get radio play or not, but she definitely has an amazing voice and I really like "Free." She is the first Idol contestant in YEARS that I'm probably going to buy their debut CD.

The Hollywood Reporter: When we first started talking, you seemed surprised at the support you received from Interscope Records and 19 Entertainment, were you expecting a struggle?
Haley Reinhart: Well, you never know how it's gonna work out. And they kind of act surprised when they're dealing with me. They're, like, “Things don't usually go this smooth” or “people don't usually come in knowing exactly who they are and what they want.” With the songwriting process as well -- I've always been a songwriter, I’ve just never really had the chance to get in a studio and execute it. So the more I go in and say, “I want this vibe this and this to be the topic,” then the more it comes out sound like me.

I am so glad that Haley got a record deal and is getting an opportunity. She was by far my Favorite on Idol last year and really should have won. She is so unique. I really hope radio will give her a chance and actually play her. And I hope her label gives her a fair amount of promotion. She is sooo very talented and unique. I could see her being a huge superstar if she is just given a fair opportunity. I hope really really hope she makes it.

Haley Reinhart, who finished third on American Idol last season, will release her debut album, Listen Up!, on May 22. The album's first single, Free, will be available digitally on March 20, but the jazzy, piano-based tune is already streaming on her Facebook fan page.

I am loving Free! Have yet to buy it on iTunes though. I am really hoping that Haley sees some success with this album. If not major success, then at least enough for her label to push for a second album.

When Haley Reinhart competed last year on American Idol, she struggled to find material that suited her. Sometimes it seemed as if her voice -- with all its blues, jazz and classic-rock influences -- was simply too big to be stuffed inside a song she had chosen; other times, her free-wheeling approach just didn't seem to work with the song, as if its melody were unfairly reining her in.
