The 14th Annual A Home For The Holidays With Rascal Flatts, an entertainment special to be broadcast Wednesday, Dec. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, will be hosted by best-selling country vocal group Rascal Flatts. It will include moving performances by Rascal Flatts, Rachel Crow, whose performance accompanies her personal story about foster care adoption, Melissa Etheridge, Matchbox Twenty and Phillip Phillips. Wayne Brady, Kevin Frazier and Jillian Michaels are set to present.

Sidenote: I watched Rascal Flatts "Changed" documentary last week, and I was really moved by it. A lot of people criticize Rascal Flatts for being too slick and polished at times; this documentary gave me a whole new respect for them. It's clear that they love the music they make, but watching them interact with their families and become visibly emotional when taking about the people and events that have affected them really opened my eyes to how their music plays into their lives. I can see why they're indeed so passionate about songs like "I Won't Let Go," "Changed," "Bless The Broken Road," etc. Watching them with their families, it's evident that there is an overwhelming love there that is bigger than anything they could accomplish as a group.

The Rascal Flatts/Journey CMT Crossroads is being filmed live from New Orleans, airing on Feb. 2:

Got any plans for Saturday, February 2nd? If not, you might be able to go see Rascal Flatts and legendary rock band Journey for a live episode of CMT Crossroads in New Orleans at the Sugar Mill.

Tickets for the show are not available but you can put your name in the hat for a couple of free tickets. The website 1iota.com is “casting” 250 people to be a part of the pit during the taping of the TV special. All you have to do is sign up and tell them why you should be one of the lucky fans.

I was listening to a Christian radio station, and this song comes on and I think, this sure sounds like RF. It was! They were playing Changed! I was so excited and I can totally see why they were playing it, but it was so cool to hear RF on a Christian station!
