A list from Journals of some of Kurt's fave albums:
I particularly love his comment about being transformed into a 9-year-old girl at a Beatles concert when he saw Shonen Knife live. lol. And his comment about the Sex Pistols being one million times more important than the Clash.![]()
Drew, what version of Aneurysm do you have? I love the Incesticide version, but I've never been too crazy about the echoing "beat it, beat it" part in the chorus. I generally prefer the live versions over the studio version because of that.
I have the Nevermind (Deluxe Version) B-side. The song is sooo addicting! I am loving it! I'm becoming obsessed! This definitely took away my Seasons In the Sun obsession, lmao.
I'm asking for that deluxe edition CD for my birthday.I'm not sure if the version on there is the same as the studio version I have, which is from Incesticide.
I've been listening to "You Know You're Right" a lot lately, too. But that one kind of makes me sad, since the entire chorus is just Kurt screaming out "pain" over and over, and knowing that it was the last song he recorded before he died.![]()
Awww, Awesome! Is your Birthday in August?
Yeah, I am not sure if it is the same version as well. I'm still a relatively new Nirvana fan, haha! You have no idea how much I love Aneurysm now!
Aww, I am going to check that song out. I think I've already heard it but I am going to give it another spin & listen closely.
Now, I am sad thinking about how the pain Kurt had to been feeling.
Yep, it's in August! Planning to ask for a record player too (and a vinyl copy of Nevermind.I might wait for the 20th anniversary edition of In Utero to get that one on vinyl).
I'm glad you're into Aneurysm now! It was one of my favourites even at the beginning, when I first became a Nirvana fan. The first time I heard/saw it was when I watched Live at the Paramount. So amazing live. <3
Awesome! I got it right. Cool. That's a nice birthday present to treat yourself with
Thanks for the video! I am in love. The performance was electrifying. I am obsessed![]()
Top 20 Sexiest Male Musicians of All Time: The Complete List
8. Kurt Cobain
Kurt Cobain was like a little lost puppy: irresistible. His shaggy-haired, unshaven scruffiness made you just want to give him a bath. (With scented oils. And candles. And yourself.) He had that "Help-me-I'm-in-pain" thing going on that women can't resist. Heroin addiction? Yes, please. Few things are more intoxicating than the delusion that a man will give up his drug of choice for you. And those heartbreaking, crystal-blue eyes? It's on. -Linda Leseman
Top 20 Sexiest Male Musicians of All Time: The Complete List - Los Angeles Music - West Coast Sound
*facepalm*
I mean, yes I love him, but the way that writer said it was seriously embarrassing. lol
Although, I will take this moment to gloat to Nicole that Axl didn't even make the list.![]()

Ahhh, Jess, you had to go there, Lmao. We all know how much Nicole loves Axl![]()
I can't take the list seriously when Jared Leto is on there.
At least when Axl makes sexiest men lists, he's in good company. I love Mick Jagger, but lulzno. Again, I'm pleasantly surprised to see some love for Jeff Buckley. One of the best voices in the history of mankind.
Yeah, I was like Jared Leto? Really? But yeah, Nicole you nailed it![]()
^ Exactly. Ugly people list. With notable exceptions (Jeff Buckley, Elvis, Justin Timberlake).
Who gave Helen Keller the authority to create such a list? Must've been a troll. I bet it was Carrie. #countdownsthatcountdowntonothing
Maybe I won't listen to Use Your Illusion after all.![]()
