Michael Bublé - "Christmas" Oct. 24th

    Found this over at Pulse:

CHRISTMAS, produced by David Foster, Bob Rock and Humberto Gatica, was recorded primarily at Capitol Recording Studios in Hollywood and The Warehouse Studios in Vancouver. The album includes guest performances by Shania Twain on "White Christmas" and The Puppini Sisters on "Jingle Bells." Buble also put his unique take on such classics as "Silent Night," "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town." In addition, a Buble original "Cold December Night" will be included on CHRISTMAS.

According to the article, he's scheduled to "star in an NBC holiday special."

This will sell lots. 'Nuff said.

I predict this to be THE album of this Christmas, perhaps only behind ADELE's "21", which will undoubtedly finish at #1 for the year.

Buble also put his unique take on such classics as "Silent Night,"

Let's hope he isn't using the Taylor Swift version!

Michael Buble Holiday Variety Special to Air on NBC in December

Hopefully Michael will have Carrie Underwood - THE All-American/Canadian Girl guest star on his special!

Canadian crooner Michael Buble will take his holiday album one step further
with his first-ever network TV variety special, which will air on NBC in
December. It’s the perfect vehicle to promote his newest collection of yuletide
    cheer and Christmas carols.

    Billboard reports that the
special will be one hour. The air date has yet to be confirmed, but it is
expected to include holiday songs and sketch comedy segments. In case you are
not familiar with Buble before he became famous as a singer, he was actually a
comedian. He often banters hilariously with fans during his concerts, so this
special will mix both facets of the ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’ singer’s winning
    personality.

The release date for Buble’s holiday set has not yet been announced. His
label has not issued any key details about the project, either. All that we know
is he recorded a version of ‘White Christmas’ with his fellow Canadian, Shania Twain, and that he
reworked Mariah Carey‘s modern classic ‘All I Want For
Christmas Is You,’ which, for the record, we are dying to hear.

This isn’t the singer’s first time celebrating Xmas on record; he actually
issued the ‘Let It Snow’ EP back in 2003. However, the 2011 holiday season is
shaping up to be filled with Michael Buble.

Boy, wouldn't that be the best present for her fans to finish the year!! They were on Oprah together- along with Tony Bennet and Josh Groban so there is definitely a connecdtion there and he seemed very impressed with her contribution that day. But seems like he would have included her name in the announcement just cause it would bring a whole additional fanbase to the show. But we can still hope!! Now days we'll take every appearance possible! Love when she sings Christmas songs! (Okay any song!!)

^ Shania sounds amazing! I was so surprised to hear the voice come out like that. I wonder when this was recorded.

Very nice. I wish he had picked Carrie instead of Shania though.

Projected to open with around 110k copies. Should sell at least a million or two by year end this year. Should debut #3 on the Billboard 200 behind Coldplay and Kelly Clarkson, above ADELE.

    Really excited about this.
    Thanks for posting the video.
The voice is so good. A true artist.
I get excited when real singers work hard to create great moments in vocal excellance.
I will be buying this. And yes, I expect "All I Want for Christmas" to carry this to 2 million!!
When you have vocalists like Buble/Adele/Underwood working hard. You know that the singing voice is not dead.
Technology did not kill the vocalist.
