When will their album be out again? I'm thinking about whether buying "Just A Kiss" on iTunes and potentially completing the album on iTunes afterwards, or wait to have the album physical if I like it.

They seem to have long waits between the first single and album release. The debut album wasn't released until April 15, 2008, even though "Love Don't Live Here" was released in October, 2007. Lucky for then it had a LONG chart run, going to June, so they were still in the midst of the debut single when the album came out.
"Need You Now" the album was released January 26, 2010. The song was released in August, 2009. It hit number one in late November, stayed there for 5 weeks, and American Honey was released before the album finally came out(January 11th for AH).
I'd expect this album to be another one with multiple singles released before the album is, since JAK is flying up the charts. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if shortly after the album is out, they're getting ready for the 3rd single.
The thing is, I quite like "Just A Kiss", but it isn't infectous enough to get me purchased it instantly. And I'm not very sure whether I will be buying their album as well, since "Need You Now" the album, while good, sounds homogenerous to me. And I basically bought that only for the leading single anyway.
Congrats to Hillary and Chris!!!

This isn't over yet damnit! Just means I gotta meet her SOON.
No seriously, congrats to Hillary. Hopefully this leads to many more great songs being written. As for me, maybe it's time to move on to girls I actually have a shot with.

Huge congrats to Hilary and Chris - what a cute couple!
I was wondering who was going to say that first^
2 bad Swifty is MINE!!!11!!! SHE BEELUNG WIT MII!!!!
On a Lady Antebellum-related note, I finally bought "Just A Kiss" on iTunes because it's so catchy. But this doesn't not nessesarily be good to them, because assuming that I'm buying JAK sooner or later, now that I've the single I might not get the album if I don't like it too much. If it's "Need You Now"-quality I might not be buying either. Although if I'm indeed buying the physical album it'll not be counted towards Soundscan while now it does, but I guess that's not very important. Truth be told, I would've only purchased "Need You Now" and "American Honey" had I have access to iTunes giftcards back then, instead of buying an overpriced NYN physical album that got shipped all the way from the States to Hong Kong off Amazon (They released a new version of the album with "I Run To You" on it but that's another story, and I already have that track on one of my Grammy compilations, same as their debut single).
I feel like im the only one who just doesnt care for "just a kiss"? It has no spark for me. I really wish i liked it.
I agree 100% !! Carrie has always gotten flack for crossing over, but she only crossed over because her talent is so amazing and unlike anyone in music she would cross over anyway. I like Lady A but their songs are VERY calculated to appeal to non-country music lovers... let's face it, their new song sounds like Fleetwood Mac but updated for today's taste. Also, I don't think Lady A vocalists are that great, they sound really good togther, but I've noticed they are exposed when they sing separately (just listen to their recent Americann Idol performance of This Kiss... their solos were thin, miles away what Carrie or Miranda can do. I guess us Carrie fans hope that Lady A does not take off again into next year to spoil Carrie's award chances again... that would be a shame. I truly believe if Carrie releasing a more straight-ahead country cd (not Conway Twitty but at least a bit more country like Carnvial Ride) then she would a) silence her critics, and b) clean up at award time!! She can always make more pop records but this 4th album is crucial for critical purposes... for some frustrating reason Taylor gets kudos for her amazing songwriting skills, yet she writes about boys, sweatshirts, etc. whereas Carrie co-writes about love, family, inspiration, god, and more timeless sentiments, yet never gets the same respect... hopefully that will change more going forward, its wrong. Finally, let's hope REMIND ME hits #1 in a few weeks, I cannot believe another song is getting as many requests, impossible.
Lady A screwing up Carrie's award chances? Wasn't aware that they've ever been up for any award against each other that Lady A won, other than album of the year. And sorry, but Lady A's albums are better than Carrie's.
A few things on Charles and Hillary's vocals. No, they aren't the best singers. But they don't try to be. They sound PERFECT together, and you hardly EVER hear them over-singing. I've noticed more and more lately that I just don't like a lot of Carrie's performances. She's TOO powerful, and still has very little stage presence. The best voice in the world doesn't matter when you're over-singing. Charles and Hillary both are more than capable of having solo careers. But they know that their best chance of success is together. No one tries to take away from the other, both have had their chances to shine, and they have the perfect recipe to be successful. They aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
And Just A Kiss is one of the better songs I've heard in a loooooong time.
If you read above I did say "they sound really good together" so I was not bashing them, but being honest about their own vocals. I guess I was referring to Best Album award... I don't think Lady's A 2nd cd is better than PLAY ON, not be a longshot. Lady A has maybe 3 good songs on their album, yet PLAY ON had essentially 4 #1 singles, plus about 4-5 amazing songs that could be #1 hits, plus beautfiul songs like "Someday Day When I Stop Loving You" which is an incredible gem to most critics alike. I was at the June 7 Opry show and I can personally tell you Carrie blew away the crowd with her stage show and entertaining banter, whereas Lady A seems perfuntory and a bit bland. That's because their songs are usually mid-tempo and have few places to vocally soar or delivery a knockout punch on stage, its just inherent in their song choices. I do think Just A Kiss is a gorgeous, hook-laden song.. classic.
