Late to the party but I am shocked Amy Adams did not win for Sharper Objects. She was brilliant in that role. At least Patricia Clarkson won.

^I have never seen most of the nominated television shows. I pay $100 a month for satellite plus $10 for Netflix. I still don’t get HBO or any other premium channels. Forget about Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. How can people afford to be able to watch everything? I’m not paying $200 a month for television. I can’t believe I pay over $100.

Guess that’s my soapbox on the price of television. Lol

^Yeah, a friend of mine said I could share their Hulu. I may have to take them up on it. I still have not watched "Handmaid's Tail".

I do that as well .I have Netflix, my brother and sister-in-law have Hulu, my friend has HBO, and my sisters boyfriend has Prime. I would love to be able to pay for all of them, but that would be too expensive.

I was suprised that Richard Madden won. I enjoyed the bodyguard and thought that he did a great job, but I know a lot of people did not. So I couldn’t believe that he won.

I saw Vice. I really liked it, but it is aimed directly at me. I also really like Adam McKay's style but I completely understand why some people don't. Christian Bale is an acting god. Amy Adams is really excellent here. Originally I didn't want her to finally win for freaking Lynne Cheney of all people, but her performance is really great so I'd be good with it. Sam Rockwell is also good to a lesser extent. I thought Steve Carell was the weak link here. Makeup should be a slam dunk. Anyway, these are just scattered thoughts.

I've closed out three SAG categories. Here are my personal preferences.

Male Actor in a Leading Role
    1) Christian Bale, Vice
    2) John David Washington, BlacKkKlansman
    3) Bradley Cooper, A Star is Born
    4) Rami Malek, Bohemian Rhapsody
    5) Viggo Mortensen, Green Book

Female Actor in a Supporting Role
    1) Emma Stone, The Favourite
    2) Rachel Weisz, The Favourite
    3) Amy Adams, Vice
    4) Emily Blunt, A Quiet Place
    5) Margot Robbie, Mary, Queen of Scots
(These are all fantastic, by the way, even if only two of them are actually supporting performances.)

    Cast in a Motion Picture
    1) Crazy Rich Asians
    2) BlacKkKlansman
    3) Black Panther
    4) A Star is Born
    5) Bohemian Rhapsody

I watched Roma and I have to say I was extremely disappointed. It was one of the most painfully boring movies I have ever seen. I don’t know if it was due to it being in a foreign language or black and white or what, but I felt no connection at all to the characters even though I wanted to. It was like it lulled me to sleep with the mundane so greatly that even when something happened I was too comatose to care. Honestly, I feel asleep. There were moments I felt it had potential but it was like there was a wall between it and me. I wanted to like it because “Gravity” is one of my favorite movies of all time, but it was one of those ‘give me the last 2 hours back!’ movies.
