Oscar For Rickman!!! Woot woot. Haha.

And suh-weet! War Horse and Moneyball next, then Tree of Life, then Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. This is what I'm trying to watch before the Globes in SEVEN DAYS (Plus hopefully I'll have seen My Week with Marilyn by then, lol.). The Broadcast Film Critics' Association awards are on Thursday, too, just as a heads up.

"War Horse"-Alright. well...hmmm...Maybe after last years amazing movies I just have way too high of expectations for this years movies. Okay, the acting was really well done in this movie and the movie looked really good. The movie was by no means bad but again I didnt find it out of this world fantastic. I probably wouldnt watch it again. For one I thought it was way too long. It did pretty solid for keeping me interested but there were some parts that did get boring and lagged.

I just need "The Descendants" to become available and Ive seen all the Best Picture nominees

    ^Bahaha. I feel you, sister.

    DGA Nominees:
    Woody Allen, Midnight in Paris
David Fincher, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
    Michel Hazanivicius, The Artist
    Alexander Payne, The Descendants
    Martin Scorsese, Hugo

Woah. First of all: Fincher?!?!?! Sweeet. I totally see Dragon Tattoo making the Best Picture cut, now. I'm not sure about Director, but I think it may be in Best Picture. It's hit all the guilds except SAG, and barely anyone saw it before the SAG voting ended. God, I need to see this movie, lol. Secondly: Allen!!!!! I think he's getting that Director nomination that's eluded him for awhile now. Couldn't be happier! Oh, and I think this is going to go to Hazanivicius.

On a sadder note, I just found out I have to work on Thursday. No live BFCA awards for me.

^ True. I read them while having a looming anatomy exam that I hadn't studied anything for. You simply can't put them down.

I am so happy Fincher made it for Dragon Tattoo as well. I am surprised Steven Spielberg did not get a nod for War Horse though. Then again, do the Oscars sometimes snub him? Maybe he is too mainstream for them.

awesome review! I am glad you liked War Horse. I thought it was so great, seeing a movie where the animal is the main star, and the people are secondary. It was really cool from that perspective.
