Please Ann, don't go. You were a great person around here....I don't know why but it just seemed like that one day you just blew up to everyone(me and James on one thread, this whole argument.) But I loved discussing things with you before that and I would love to continue to do so.
Lord knows if everyone left around here after every disagreement, there would be no one left.
Yes, I have been here for 6 years and have seen all kinds of heated fights and disagreements. Some even worst than this one. I have even been in a couple myself. I think everyone of us has had our blow ups here at one time or another but I still like everybody on here not to mention my love/our love for Carrie is what keeps me around in addition to the different opinions on here. I like that not everybody has the same opinions on here. Carriefans are so opinionated it makes for interesting read imo. Imo it would be boring around here if everybody had the same kinds of opinions. I just think we could leave the personal attacks of fellow Carriefans out though as that tends to not resolve anything but just cause more problems imo. Just my two cents. Now off to watch the Preds game![]()

Whats a Mod suppose to do? Here's hoping the "FUN" in our dys"FUN"ctional family gets a great nights sleep!
Hang on everyone the waiting is almost over!
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Thanks Ashley
THE ACM 2009 & 2010 EOTY HAS A NEW LAST NAME.... UNDERWOOD
Congratulations Carrie for your Triple Crown Win!!
Ann, you have been a great asset to CF, we need you to tweet and give us the updates when the album and single drops. Please don't leave, every family have their share amount of arguments and fights.
Dear eliefares:
First of all, I have posted three times with two edits and the last time, I sent the reply and it was gone except for your post. In any event, I will try again (maybe there is something wrong with my laptop).
I sent you a nice tweet and lo and behold, I found out that I was unfollowed by you. I really wish you could have read the tweet because I wanted to work out our differences. Your facts are incorrect (maybe it is because my laptop has problems...) I would like to talk with you regarding our differences, however I will not talk to you at CF because everyone loves you and even though I am a very positive poster, except for this time, I am recieving horrible, nasty posts on CF. I have not even looked at twitter yet. I am pharaphasing Nanny's DM -- but she said this started because of my DM to her. That is totally wrong. I love Nanny and asked her opinion. Before that, I thought long and hard; never tweeted, never posted and I am the villian and I have been told eliefares is loved by everyone. I rarely post negative things (check it out), however I am hated by this post and incorrect information was given. Russ has also left the board...there's a pattern IMO. I did not spam MIKE. I will never post again on CF again.
Sincerely yours,
Ann
This is for Ann005 & Ellie. Please don't leave CF...

In defense of myself, I did not say that this ordeal started with our private messages. I said that after the messages, I saw that you were posting about it on Twitter to Mike Fisher, which led me to posting in this thread. My opinion of the matter is that it has gone too far.
I, too, love you and enjoy your company. I wholeheartedly hope that you will not leave us. You are correct, before this incident, your posts had been nothing but positive and friendly. I am sure that the majority of us are confused as to why you reacted the way you did because it completely conflicts with who we had previously interacted with.
On the subject of Russ, as far as I know he did not leave due to conflict. He told me something in confidence, but it had to do with a personal issue and did not concern this site or any of its users.
^^^Hi Ann, a post from you did appear in this thread (#16) which is similar to your most recent post (#26). Take care, Pi.
Seems to me like there was miscommunication if anything.
What you two need to do is talk it out, find out where things went downhill. I'm not sure what this is all about but there is no need to be dramatic and "leave" Carriefans. Everyone genuinely likes everyone here even with our differences. This message board was created by and continues to thrive on our mutual love and respect for Carrie Underwood. Leaving Carriefans shows blatant disrespect toward your fellow fans and Carrie. I don't know if she visits here, but I'm positive she'd feel bad that a fan was leaving over something that really is SO SMALL. That is my take on it...
It seems to me both parties could have handled things a bit more maturely, but in the end we're all Carrie fans and we're here to support her, not make things about us. Now go somewhere and talk about it and move on!
I say this with the utmost respect for both of you. You're both genuinely nice, caring people - at least that's what I read from your posts. It is clear to me that this all stemmed from a misunderstanding on one parties' part. This can easily be resolved, and things can go back to normal. Just don't leave, Ann, with things unresolved, that would be immature, in my opinion. I don't see the hate you're talking about, Ann. It seems that most of the people are begging you to stay, and others are just advising you on how to present yourself better over the internet when spoken words and facial expressions cannot be used to help your case. Simple grammatical corrections can help to make you look much more knowledgable and mature. Advice on that should be taken if you want to become a better understood poster. I've had trouble with it in the past (being misunderstood) so when I was given advice, I'd always take it and now I think I'm much better. Just my thoughts on this, I hope I don't offend anyone...
And my second bag of popcorn is now popping (I have a bit of a problem).
Well I enjoy all of your posts. I think all this is just a by product of having not much Carrie news to talk about. I think if you both looked into each others eyes you would find much common ground. Typing on a keyboard makes us all say stupid things from time to time that we would never say to someone in person. Don't forget that there's someone on the other end of your posts that have feelings also. And just remember why your here. It's because of the incredible Carrie Underwood.
Could we please cut the crap and the childish arguing..........and get back to what's most important........OUR SWEET CARRIE.........her new album will be out soon......lead single even sooner........what if Carrie saw this?......think about it.......if you both have something to talk about......please not here......do it in a PM.......we have to much Carrie work coming up to worry about who said what and when........more #1's and a hit album is more important than that!!!
It's against the law to be nice to anyone these days. Regardless how nice they talk to you. Everyone is a smarty pants. Paying back evil for evil is cool. So they say.
All I've been able to do is read all the posts here on this topic, and the posts on Elie's blog. If it's gone elsewhere too, I think it's very sad.
As far as I can tell, it all began because two or three people (who are not members here, but visit here occasionally, and don't like what they see on this board) posted criticisms on Elie's blog. For the most part, those criticisms were general, but one of the posters in particular made derogatory reference to one of our regular posters by name, and a couple of them referred to another member whom they admired, but who may or may not have left, in their view, because he may have shared some of their concerns.
The point is, none of us have any control over those people's opinions, what they post, or where they post it. They're free agents, entitled to their opinions, and they'll presumably go on airing their concerns where they find an opportunity.
The assumption seems to have been made, at the start of this issue, that Eliefares, the owner of the blog, is in some way responsible for those posters - and that seems to have lain at the root of the heartfelt post that began the heated part of the discussion. I respect the strength of feeling - but that assumption is based on a misunderstanding. Blogs are usually open to reply - by random members of the public who visit the site and reply, usually with a simple board name, and a hidden e-mail address. The owner of the blog expects a variety of views - but he is not the one making the replies. If anyone has an issue with the replies, they are in turn free to make their own reply, giving a different perspective (which is what Tee did). All the replies can then be read together - which I think is preferable to making it an issue here or elsewhere , where much of the discussion may be out of context and confusing.
I'm sorry if I'm stating the obvious - but I think most members here like and respect Tee, Elie and Ann, value posts from all of them - and don't want to see a battle over who's loved or hated the most.
Please don't lets allow those random critics from outside (who are entitled to their own views) divide us and divert us from what we all hold and like in common - Carrie and her music!![]()
Just sent you some! Virtually, of course!

This issue is none of my business and I don't intend to make it.
But one thing - it is completely unnecessary and inappropriate to tweet Mike about ANY issue on this board, any blog or article, etc.
Since I like to butt in to things that aren't my business...
Everyone respects Elie because we've known him for so long and he's pretty much never made a bad post. He's never done anything to put Carrie in jeopardy. I was surprised he even had the WAW demo. He's just been such a low key yet respectable member that he is one of the last people that deserves to be targeted. You know? Like, he's not even one of the loudmouths on this forum. So of course we're all confused. Especially seeing as you've been on this site, well, not very long, and you made snap judgments on a member who's been on this site for a long time and has never caused a lick of trouble. Sometimes it's better to sit things out when you're a relatively new poster, you know? Get to know exactly how the user posts and stuff like that before making a judgment. I mean, Nanny may look to most people like just a lesbian, and sure, she loves her women, but she also appreciates Axl Rose... although he does resemble a chick. Or did. Before he got that handlebar 'stache. -_- Nothing is as it seems. You have to get used to how people conduct themselves. Everybody's got their own personality, and you really have to take that personality into account before you judge a post.
Also, nobody on CFs was really hating on you. Twitter? Maybe yeah. I've seen a few things.
As has Sir R, Michelle, No Name, Opry, and many of my favorite posters. Two of 'em left just because their friends stopped stopping by, one left for personal reasons, and the other... well, I don't know where Opry went. I should totally ask her. She made the TS SN Thread amazing. Anyway, the point is, not many people have left this board in recent times because the posters on here drove them away. It did happen when this site had like a sh!t ton of Taylor Swift fans, but the prominent folks really haven't left because they were actually driven away. Not as far as I know.
Russ would never let users on here drive him away. I'm sure there's a different reason he hasn't posted lately. He didn't even let getting banned from this site because he backtalked TS fans drive him away.
False.
Whyyyy? I don't understand this. I have done far more damage to this site than you probably ever will (in fact, I'm still banned from reading and posting in this one particular thread) and I'm still here. I just pick myself up, dust myself off, and kept going, learning from my mistakes. You can do that, too. The folks on here are a lot more forgiving than you're giving them credit for. Only the people who LEAVE after causing trouble get a bad reputation around here. When things are ironed out, we're generally cool. So keep posting.Except for this misstep, a lot of people enjoy your posts. Just look at how many people have thanked you.
Just thought I'd pitch in my two cents while I'm avoiding The Grapes of Wrath.
