"Desperate Houswives" ending after 8 seasons

"The ladies of Wisteria Lane are now approaching the end of the line for their landmark ABC series "Desperate Housewives."

The network gave a written statement to ET today announcing that the next season of the sexy comedy will be its last.

I used to really like the show, it started SO strong but after a few seasons I dont found it that good, a new mysterious character every season and they get rid of that character at the end of the season, they could have gone like that forever, so in some way I think it's good its going to end before they go down hill (I think they were already in that direction with some stories). I kept watching because I wanted to see how the story ends. I hope they really bring it this last season.

Aw, it's sad that the show's ending, but I wasn't really interested in it last year. I guess it's time.
