Dear Carrie Underwood..I had (have) a dream
If you, Carrie Underwood ever read this.
I hope so fervently that you will come to Norway and keeping a concert!
I want you to know that I will always be a Care Bear!
You hear things like this often, but I do not think there is any other celebrity who has such loyal fans like you! First, a brief about myself.
- Firstly, I am incredibly bad at formulating words, and to put things right. My English is not the best. But will try as best I can!
- I am a girl of sixteen years, living in a small town called Halden in Norway. Going to school and working a little now and then as a swimming coach for children aged four to ten years old (can not say how much I love children).
- A BIG Country fan! Are seen as weird because I listen to country music, but I hold on to what I love!
Three days ago I had a dream, a dream that I really wish were true! The dream was as follows:
- I signed up for a contest on the Web, where the lucky winner could win a "Meet & Greet" with three of their favorite artists. The day when the draw was to come, came. I was called a number I could say I knew. At first I was a little unsure if I should answer it, what if it was telemarketers again? But I picked up the phone and held it up to my ear. After 30 seconds into the conversation, I was very happy that I answered the phone! I was the lucky winner! I should meet three of my favorite artists! I knew immediately which artists I would wanted to meet, and those I wanted to meet was Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks and Brad Paisley!
Each days continued as normal, until the weekend where I would meet Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley and Garth Brooks came. My mother and I sat on the plane to the U.S., we were both excited and could not wait to meet you! But that weekend, we only meet Garth Brooks and Brad Paisley. It was in fact made some changes. I would get to meet Carrie Underwood in Norway! For Carrie Underwood was on a world tour and would then come visit Norway! Now, both my dreams were fulfilled. Get to meet Carrie Underwood, and that she will perform in Norway.
The big day came, and I got ready to go to Oslo to see the concert of Carrie Underwood. On the train to Oslo, I felt the nerves flowing on. What would I say? What if I fool myself? The thoughts were flying around in my head.
Well arrived in Oslo, I was escorted by a lady, to another side of the arena, where I caught a glimpse of Carrie Underwood. I had to stop and pinch myself in the arm. When I saw that lady who escorted me was moving in the direction of Carrie Underwood, I had to pinch especially hard in the arm. But I went ahead and followed the lady. After going into something that felt like an eternity, only a hundred meters. Cried the lady by Carrie Underwood. Carrie Underwood turned and came towards us with a big smile on his face. She came up to me and gave me a big hug. I presanterte me and welcomed her to Norway. Before the concert started, we got time to interview and some small talking.
The concert started and I got VIP front row seat. It was a great concert! After the concert, I also got time to chat with Carrie. We ended up talking about just about everything between heaven and earth! It was really nice! Carrie was a very great person and easy to talk to.
Towards the end of the meeting with Carrie, she revealed that it was a surprise! I scarcely knew what to do. The final surprise was that I would be a whole weekend with Carrie Underwood. And Carrie had really wanted to see my hometown, Halden.
The weekend where Carrie would come to Halden had come. I went to the airport to meet her. When I got to the airport, I saw the plane landed and I hurried in to be ready. I had a little placard reading "Carrie Underwood" on so she would know that she should go to me.
We got to Halden and arranged so that she could feel comfortable. The first day we took a little quiet, was little better known, and went out to eat at night with my family. During dinner we talked and everything was just perfect! I was in heaven! The second day we went down to Halden city, so Carrie got to see how Norway is. I showed her around town to different things like the famous fortress we have, we shopped and took a quick trip over to Sweden, since Halden is only ten minutes away from the Swedish border. We had a great time! The weekend passed quickly, and Carrie had to return home to the U.S.. I thanks so much for everything I had experienced and that I hoped to see her again in Norway in the near future.
Best of all was that Carrie never stopped keeping in touch. We still kept in touch via twitter and other communication facilities. I even had a Christmas card every year and birthday greeting on my birthday!
This dream would I really wish were true! A dream I will never forget!
