Christian Couple Refuse to Tip Gay Waiter, Leave Hateful Note Instead

'Queers do not share in the wealth of GOD, and you will not share in ours' reads the note one Kansas couple left a gay waiter in place of a tip.

After providing excellent service to a couple who dined in his section, a 20-year-old gay waiter at Carrabba's Italian Grill in Overland Park, Kan., found a hateful message left for him in lieu of a tip, reports The New Civil Rights Movement.
The note read: “Thank you for your service, it was excellent. That being said, we cannot in good conscience tip you, for your homosexual lifestyle is an affront to God. Queers do not share in the wealth of God, and you will not share in ours. We hope you will see the tip your fag choices made you lose out on, and plan accordingly. It is never too late for God's love, but none shall be spared for fags. May God have mercy on you.”
But the couple's cruel intentions appear to have backfired, as their hateful message has caused several locals to rally around the young waiter. A string of supporters have shown up at the restaurant since hearing the news and specifically request to be seated in the mistreated waiter’s section.
One such supporter is Dr. Marvin Baker, a former pastor who now leads a Bible study group for LGBT members in the area. Baker and his partner made a point to dine at the Carrabba’s after hearing of the infamous note. "I was angry. I said this is not Christian as I know it," Baker toldKCTV. "God really loves us. And God does not advertise or promote hate. That is not love."
Both the server and his mother, who also works at the restaurant as a hostess, declined to comment on the note left by the so-called Christian couple, but in this case one random act of hate has spurred many more of kindness.

This is wrong on many levels. The waiter being gay has nothing to do with the service he provided. They should've tipped him the same as any other good waiter or waitress. This is ridiculous.

Not to mention tips are expected in the States, counted actually as parts of the waiters' salary and are taxed ever if that waiter doesn't have it.

How did the couple even know the waiter was gay?

Perhaps they overheard it, perhaps he looked rather feminine. Perhaps because he was serving them too well they became friendly and chatted.

The customer provides proof to defend themselves:

Customers claim they did leave tip, did not leave note for server

The customer responded and showed their copy with their 18 dollar tip and no note on it and also they showed their credit card statement showing the amount and tip that was charged. Either the waitress made this up and or someone else wrote it on the receipt to cause a stir. Also the customer stated that is not their handwriting and that they didn't support Chris Christie because of his views on gays. People are so quick to believe what they see at face value without getting both sides of the story.

Advocate is an American LGBT magazine, and christians happen to be the only considerable group of people in the States who are anti-gay.

Regardless, if christians don't do 'negative things', then people would have nothing to post about. Dismissing a site for being 'anti-christian' to justify these acts is just awful.

Being accused of something you didn't even do is "just awful" also.

I wouldn't be so quick to believe everything you read on the Internet.......

By your definition there would be not posts. No matter how hard anyone tries we ALL do negative things. None of us are perfect. In a perfect world...

Don't hate the Christians. They are just going by the Bible. Jesus loves all people including gays. But it also says homosexuality is a sin. But so is a lot of things

Without going down a slippery slope here, the bible had not been compiled yet in the time of Jesus.ut the jewish turan had. So, Jesus has nothing to do with any argument about Gays and Christianity.

Jesus said: the Old Testement is DEAD!! I am the New Covenent! Believe in Me! Not the old law! I am the way the truth and the life! This is MY COMMANDMENT! THAT YOU LOVE ONEANOTHER!

And thats it folks. Anything more, people are making up on their own.

The old testement is where there are many laws that divide the world. Christ came to do away with that old law.

So we did away with slavery, women staying silent, Men being better than.., men not shaving, woman wearing "only dresses" that cover "all" their parts. Women can now wear make up, and Men don't stone their exwives to death.

All in all its a better world for having done away with laws that were inforced to "control peasants"!

Homosexuality, a condition no different than any other natural phenomenon, will not be demonized in the future. And the world will be a better place then to.

Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Man. (you are either for it or against it, either way, that is why he came)

All sex is icky to someone.

That is what makes me so mad about straight people. As if the sex they have is somehow "sexier".

    Icky!
