I'm loving the sound of this title! Gosh, I so hope we get a new single at the CMAs.

Awesome! I like that imagery! Dancing in the countryside clearly. Good old bootin' scootin' Barn Dance. haha I hope it's really upbeat and fun.

This is already starting to sound good. I always wanted another choreographed video, so let's hope she does this time around.

holy canoli if she decides to go super country on this one I also wouldn't mind.. I'd love if she'd reflect a sort of farm girl kind of vibe but with a dance and more fiddle/twang than she's ever done... it would be so memorable. Definitely might not be typical Carrie, but she is a southern girl who grew up in a farm so.. let's see what she does. will the real carrie underwood please stand up?

I don't want to sound like a downer here, but is this song actually brand new or is it from a different album era?Just asking, not trying to start any arguments here.

^ It's Brand New. Please trust Typo as a legitimate Source. He has never been wrong and is very knowledgeable about what songs are registered and when.

Excited. Love the title. Barry Dean has written a lot of good songs. He was a co-writer on "Pontoon" and, of course, Carrie's "Crazy Dreams" which is one of my favorites.

I'm sorry,Tee,but I'm not trusting some random person that just happens to find cowrites by sheer luck.If he doesn't work in the record industry,I'm not trusting him.You don't tell me who to trust here,Tee.It's my choice to not trust him if I don't want to.Luke Laird hasn't written any songs for Carrie since the Blown Away era & Barry Dean hasn't written anything for Carrie since the Carnival Ride era.I know you'll probably call me a downer, but that's important information to know when looking for new songs from Carrie for the new album era.How much of time is Typo right,Tee?Just curious.

Lol uh. You can trust Typo. He's not some random person. Doesn't he actually work in the industry?

Hello, you asked a question and Tee answered. Tee offered her take based on her experience, and was hoping you would take it at face value. It seems you take this as an offense that this is forced down your throat??

Tee and many others have been on this site for 5+ years and have enjoyed the information given by Typo. Of course, you can either accept this info or doubt it or reject it. As we continue to discuss this and hopefully future co-writes, please refrain from interjecting your doubts into the discussion. Let things play out.

This reminds me of the incident where someone found some clues about Carrie's wedding being in Georgia. Some people DEMANDED facts and were vocal in rejecting this tidbit. Weeks later, it turned out to be true. Just sayin', just let things play out.

Didn't the songwriting pitch from a few weeks ago say something to the extent of deeper songs with deeper lyrics?I thought that this was a place where I could freely express my opinions without getting ganged up on,but I thought wrong apparently. As humans were allowed to have doubts, because that is a part of life & we all have had doubts at one time or another, haven't we?Where am I supposed to express my doubts if I can't do it on here?I thought we all had a right to free speech in this country, but I'm guessing that doesn't extend to this board, does it?This may be the last time I post on here if I can't express my opinions.I really don't think anyone would miss me on here.BTW,if she wants deeper songs on this next album, why would she choose a song title that sounds as surface level as the shallow end of a swimming pool.

Hey don't leave! Your opinions are strange for sure sometimes, but unique and it'd be too plain without you. I think you can express yourself freely, but maybe not take everything as an offense or get defensive? I think that's what she means. Nobody is is telling you to trust anyone! You can do as you choose freely, but from what I understand, this Typo guy is trustworthy in general and has been known to give accurate information over the years. Never trust anyone blindly, but we all can be more respectful and understanding towards each other without having to go full on attack mode or defense.

As for the song not seeming deep enough, this is just one co-write of maybe many to come. If all her songs were just deep and nothing else, it'd get boring eventually. Having a fun, upbeat, even dance-driven song would get people pumped especially during concerts. I think it would be a good idea to have an upbeat, "sugary" song, as long as there isn't too many. A balance of deep songs with at least one or two more upbeat songs would be great, in my opinion. Also, a song can in fact be very upbeat but have deep lyrics, so we'll have to wait and see if she even includes this on her album.
