Carrie is getting great reviews, not surprising. What really amazes me is I haven't read anything about how she managed to accomplish almost 2 hours of flawless singing while having a cold. I would love to hear Carrie sing "I will always love you" without either having a cold or without holding back while singing it during her Christmas special, several years ago, with Dolly. Truly great concert. Carrie constantly out does herself. I admire Carrie so much and in oh so many ways. What a great gift Idol gave to us. I feel so honored to have been at her TD Gardens, Boston show.
most of DL , listen to that crowd sing and cheer.Gotta be the next single!!
Just watched it and I see what you mean. She must love that people are singing along with the new songs that aren't even singles yet!
And you can definitely tell she is sick. Her voice just sounds a little lower in the low parts, although it seems to be just as easy for her to hit the mid-range and higher notes. When I saw her in Louisville she pretty much sounded as good as or better than the recording.

New England Country @NECntryMusic Mar 4 #TheStorytellerTour featuring @carrieunderwood, @eastoncorbin, and @TheSwonBrothers passes through Boston. RECAP: http://ne-countrymusic.com/carrie-underwood-brings-a-night-of-storytelling-to-bostons-td-garden/ …
Carrie Underwood’s Storyteller Tour was one of the most highly anticipated tours of the year and Carrie made sure that it lived up to every expectation that it possibly had coming in. Underwood ended up playing 22 songs all fitting perfectly with each other- the setlist was masterfully crafted and kept the crowd engaged and compelled throughout the entire night. This wasn’t just a concert, it was a production. From the stage and lights to the visual effects and, of course, the music. There wasn’t one aspect of the show that overshadowed the others. Each aspect of the production balanced each other out perfectly making it an unforgettable night for the capacity crowd at Boston’s TD Garden.
Every word is true. I know, because I was there that wonderful night. Weather was terrible, but the concert was fantastic.
