So I was wondering, was Just As I Am removed from the setlist? I noticed she did not sing it at my concert and haven't noticed any mentions or videos of the song. Has anyone noticed if she's still singing it?
Yes, was removed. And I would love to hear Remember When instead.![]()
She didn't sing it in Springfield, MO on 10/28. I love that hymn and was hoping to hear it...
It is an old gospel hymn. I think it is absolutely beautiful - definitely one of my favorites. This is a contemporary version of the hymn: Just As I Am by Brian Doerksen with Lyrics - YouTube.
Apparently, Carrie sang a version after Jesus Take the Wheel at a few of the early Blown Away concerts. I was hoping to hear her version. I know it must have been amazing!
I'm thinking she removed "Just as I Am" from the setlist because it wasn't as easily recognizable as HGTA??
^^ Yeah, I agree Gator, I think that's why too. Although I'm really disappointed I won't get to hear it live.
Opry, I didn't hear it in Nashville, either.![]()

I love that song and think she was initially trying to find another faith filled song to go with JTTW as HGTA was such a success with it in the last tour. I wish she'd sung "more" of Just As I Am prior to going into JTTW and maybe it would have worked as it's an awesome song but she sang such a short run of it that you couldn't grab onto it before it was over and she was going into JTTW. She didn't sing it in Seattle either so very few stops got it as Seattle was on 10/6.
Dang I was really looking forward to hearing this!
Wow that's a really good song that Carrie covered wonder why she cut it from her set list I would have wanted to hear it when she have her concerts in Southern California
No, she only performed a snippet.
