I have some photos to add to the growing collection. I'll try to put up a few at a time, they won't all be Carrie, but you guys need to see some of the other artists as well.

This is just a part of the crowd waiting for her to enter the building to sign autographs. They crowd never got much smaller all day.

Here is the last shot I have of the crowd waiting for Carries arrival to sign autographs, but this one shows the other end of the throng.



A happy Carrie greets the fans. The big guy in the back is her body guard. He’s never to far away. Must be weird to have to have a body guard all the time, but that’s where her life is now.



Here is one from the second of the Opry shows. She really looked good that night. She did a different set for each show, most of the others repeated their sets.




Here are a couple of Bucky taken during his signing period. I didn’t see him perform live, because he was playing on a different stage at the same time as Megan Mullins & she just has to be seen to be believed.

Not to mention an incredible instrumentalist. She plays everything with strings...everything...well I've never seen her play the Sitar, but I don't doubt for a minute that she could.

It seems like not many are looking at these photos, but here are some more anyway.

In the past couple of years Carrie seems to have become the most visible of all past Idols, now it seems as though she is also becoming the new face of The Grand Ol Opry.



He she is with some of her band at the fan club party.



Trace Adkins at the Opry. From the top of his cowboy hat to the bottom of his boots, he is 7’1”. He is a big, big man.



The LoCash Cowboys. If you ever get a chance to see them, you must. They put on a great show.

Carrie asked Lance Smith from CMT to be the surprise MC of the Fan Club Party. Here they are together during the question & answer session. He was really good, funny & kept her on her toes.



From an American Idol to some Nashville Stars;

Here is winner Buddy Jewell.



Another winner, Chris Young. For the life of me I can’t understand why this guy hasn’t had more success. He is straight up one of the better traditional Country voices around.



Even though she didn’t win, Miranda Lambert is hands down the most successful of all Nashville Star alums. Theses were both taken off the big screen, but I don’t think they came out to bad.

Kerosene, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Gunpowder & Lead, Dead Flowers (I like it too), & a couple of others, but I am drawing a blank right now.

Did you see what happen to Lee Ann Womack during her set? I turned and when I looked again she was feeling her forehead and then a chair was brought out for her to continue her next song. It looked like she might have been bother about the heat.

I didn't see any issues with what she did. I just figured it was part of the set that the next song was going to be done that way. But, I'll tell you one thing. As much as I like to hear her on the radio, I was disappointed in her live show...boring. She pretty much lost the crowd, at least all the folks around me were ready for her to finish.

I have seen her before and she pretty much stood still and barely said anything then too.
