Okay so sorry for the delay, but this is the review I posted at the FC! First, my MEET & GREETTTTT SKJHFKDJHGKJDHGKJDHG!!!!!

When we were almost there, we got stuck in traffic, it was sooooo frustrating because at one point I was looking at Carrie's busses and trucks behind the Arena while stuck in traffic like behind them on the highway and I was literally yelling out the window "I'M SOOOO CLOSE! Can I just get out and run?!?!?!" lol.

So anyway, I finally get there and I pretty quickly find Jen (LuvCarrieVeryMuch) and Annie (Annie haha) and we hung out and chatted by the Box Office area for a little bit. But we had some troubles, because since I'm under 18, I was supposed to get 2 passes and Jen was going to come in with me because neither of my parents could. The box office people were sooo slow in trying to figure it out and we were starting to get worried.

Then suddenly MATT appears on the other side of this door to get from the box office area and the main arena (YAYYY. Wow.... he's short hahaha), and he just kind of stood there for a bit, and then he came in and told us 3 and a couple other FC members there "Umm guys you're supposed to be waiting in that line OUT THERE, so you can get your tickets scanned quickly and be at the front of the line so you can get in there quickly." **Cue the doors opening and like 1000000 fans getting in because it's 6:30.*** And he was like "Ugh, darn. Give me your tickets and I'm going to go scan them all in. So he took our tickets, went to one of the ticket-scanning lines and cut everyone to get all of our's scanned hahahaha! But first I had to tell him the situation with Jen, and he was like "Hmm... what's your name?" and he looked at the sheet and saw that I WAS under 18 and he gets on his earpiece and is like "MATT TO KEITH, MATT TO KEITH!", but then this other guy we had been talking to came back with another sticker for Jen so he was then like "Oh- nevermind!" into the earpiece ahaha. So THEN he went to scan the tickets.

He came back with them all and was like "Man... now I'm going to have to pass all these tickets out! Okay... who is in Section F1, Row F, Seat 3... any takers?!" and no one said anything so I was like "Well, that sounds a lot better than my seat, I'll take that ticket!" and he started to hand it to me and then was like "WAAAAIIITT, NOOO! You're going to get me fired!" hahahaha. So then he changed it to reading the names of the people who bought the tickets, and he got them all passed out.

So Annie, Jen, and I were just chatting away during most of this, talking about how it was nice to be with other obsessed Carrie fans who actually know who Matt is and everything else. At this point we were gathered in a huge group of like 30 people waiting to go back to the M&G area, and Matt kind of positioned himself in the center right by us, so I was like "I'm totally going to chat with him guys!" We had been talking about her signing stuff, so this was our convo at this point:

Me: Carrie has sharpies, right?
Matt: (nods head) Yes she does
Me: I hear she STEALS people's sharpies sometimes hahaha.
Matt: WOW, you Fan Club members.... every little detail of every tiny thing said at a meet & greet ends up on there, I mean EVERYTHING said. (YES you are right Matt.... see this is up here now hahaha)
Me: Well, we think it's funny! We're not like 'Ahhhh I'm so mad she stole my pen!' and it's awesome to read everyone's stories.
Matt: Yeah but EVERY DETAIL, like the tiniest things. You guys comment on it all, there are always so many meet & greet stories.
Me: Yeah, they're fun to read! I just feel bad for the people who say they're dissapointed because they were too scared to say anything
Matt: Oh you would be suprised how often that happens! Or people cry! Some people completely freak out, and I'm like 'She's just a person everyone, like you and me!'

I think that was the end of that convo... I can't really remember haha, it's such a blur. But Annie said she would try to help me remember it all because we were like trying to keep the whole night straight in our heads to tell everyone on here.

So then we get taken back to the locker room area I think, and we get lined up in different groups, and there were a LOT of people and a lot of different groups... radio winners, people from Vitamin Water, people from Sony, people from other groups that I don't even know, there were like 6 groups and I would say 30-40 people. Matt said it was an exceptionally large group and he was sorry but he knew we wouldn't get out of there by the time LBT started. So he went over the rules with some funny little jokes and stuff, and then we were standing around, waiting for Carrie.

He kind of came over towards Jen, Annie, and I again and was like "Sorry it's taking her so long guys. She has to walk like a mile and a half to get here!" and we were like "REALLY?!" and Matt goes "Welll...... no.... but it's a pretty far distance away!" Hahahahah that was my favorite Matt quote of the night!!!

So then Carrie walks in and everyone was just like silently freaking out. She was so speedy, she just snuck in and got right to her little area and got to work!!! I was freeeaaaakinnngggg out, I couldn't believe that was Carrie Underwood RIGHT THERE. It was very surreal. Most people that met her were really quick and barely said anything. But there was this one adorable 5-year-old boy Jen and I had talked to earlier, and Carrie was SO cute with him, asking him his name, age, if he liked to sing, etc. He was really quiet with her but suddenly yelled "I LIKE YOUR SONGS!!!!" and she laughed and thanked him. I don't really remember most of what she said to people, but she mentioned being scared she was going to bit it one night on the stairs in those stilettos. So then it got towards just us Fan Club members and she kind of paused doing at autograph and looked up and was like "I feel like we're playing the quiet game!" because everyone was like dead quiet. Then at another point she commented on how impressed she was with Matt, she was like "Hey you have a new talent I didn't know about!" because he was taking some people's pictuers with TWO cameras at once hahaha. Carrie was like "Multi-tasking, niiiiiice! I don't know where to look... in the middle?!" And then at one point she asked a lady if she knew how to work it and strike a fierce pose and the lady was too nervous to respond back lol.

So Annie and Jen and I were freaking out and getting so nervous as it got to us, AHHH. Annie went and she'll probably tell about her experience, and then I went up and I THINK our convo went like this lol. I suprisingly was able to speak really well!!

Me: Hi Carrie, I'm Gretchen, welcome to Boston!
Carrie: Aww thanks, hi it's nice to meet you! (shake hands)
*Takes my CR CD jacket thing to sign*
Is this for you?
Me: Yes, it is!
*Goes to sign it*
Me: Sooo.... I have to tell you I'm very impressed with Ace's typing skills!
Carrie: I KNOW, RIGHT?!?!?! It took him a little while to figure out the whole (*makes hands like they're paws and pretends to type*) paw-to-keyboard thing, he hit a lot of wrong letters at first!
And then Jen, who was kind of off to the side, said "Unkie Matt!"
Matt: AHHH, yes Unkie Matt!
Carrie: *laughing* Oh yeah... apparently he calls you Unkie Matt when you have to take him out...
Me: Oh yeah, Unkie Matt, that was pretty cute!
Matt: Ummm.... yeah.... you can take that down now!
Carrie: *laughing* Oh Ace, you're such a ham. (Shaking head) Actually, I usually type for him. He tells me what to say. It goes from his mouth to my hands. (*Then she pauses for a second, she was about to sign my booklet, looks like she is thinking*)
Wait.... yeah.... nevermind. That was weird. Whatever! (*Goes back to signing my book*)
Me: OH! I have a gift for you!! I know that you're a sports fan, and sometimes you wear local jerseys during the encore onstage. And the Red Sox are in the middle of a HUGE play-off series so I got you a jersey!
Carrie: (Opens gift) Oooo wow, niiiiice! But I have to tell you... I don't know if I can wear this after last night!
Me: Yeahhh that was pretty bad. It'll happen.
Carrie: That was pitiful!!! *laughs* I can't wear this!
Me: Maybe you'll bring them good luck!
Carrie: I don't know, I don't usually have good luck! They're playing tonight, right?
Me: No, not until tomorrow night.
Carrie: Ohhhh okay. Well thanks for the jersey!
Me: Can we have a hugging picture?
Carrie: Of course! (*HUGSSSS MEEEEE, AHHH it was sooo surreal and awesome, it was such a good hug hahahaha)

Me: Thank you so much Carrie, have a good show! And please be careful when you're on that huge rising thing, you make me really nervous haha!
Carrie: I make MYSELF really nervous on that thing every night, I'm going to topple over one of these nights and hurt myself! *Laughing* I'm a klutz, I would!!!


So that was the endddddd!!!!!! It was awesome!!!! We had such a nice chat and I LOVE my picture!!! Carrie was so sweet and so gorgeous and person, when we were making direct eye contact, like a foot away from each other... I couldn't believe it.

AHHH! I'll post about the concert later today probably, no time right now unfortunately!

Concert Review.... pics & vids to follow tomorrow probably!

Ok, so I was extremely excited for this show, obviously. It was only my 2nd Carrie concert ever, my first time meeting her, and my first time actually being close enough to her to see her face haha. When I saw her in Providence... our seats were SO far away.

I was so excited and flipping out when I finally got to my seat (Side section 102, 6th row)!!! I was worried about how far from the stage they were going to be, but we were literally like 20 feet from the edge of the stage, when she came over to our side she was like RIGHT there and we were making eye contact and she was waving to everyone who waved to her. I know a lot of people here have floor seats for like 5 Carrie shows a year, but this was my first concert EVERRR to have good seats.

Little Big Town- They were really awesome! But I didn't get to my seat until like partway through their first song, as Matt predicted would happen because the M&G group was sooooo big. Obviously it was so worth it lol. They were really fun and entertaining, using all parts of the stage and catwalk. I knew most of their songs, but not well enough to know a lot of the words to sing along to. Honestly I was so crazed from my meet & greet and so excited for my friends to get there (they got stuck in a TON of traffic) that I was texting a million people and freaking out too much to completely pay attention to their show.

Also during the middle of the LBT set, Matt like randomly bolted up the aisle into the food area, right by me and I waved and he remembered me, probably for giving him a hard time and talking to him a lot hahaha, and waved back. People around me looked impressed that I knew an insider lol.

So my friends finally got there right as LBT was ending so I could freak out and tell them about meeting Carrie, yay!!!! Then there was the agnozing wait for Carrie, during which I spent 25 minutes in line for bathrooms and food.

Cue the countdown clock!!! And "Beautiful Day" of course! I won't elaborate too much on every song because I know everyone knows the drill by now, but I have some fun comments about her chatter before some of them & other stuff...

FOTF
Never fails to get people completely crazed and pumped up! Carrie got everyone hooked early.

A lot of people didn't seem to know the words, but I'm so glad she plays the whole song now, it was really fun. I love the jump haha!

Wasted
Got people going again, more people knew the words.

AAG
Ohhh wow the little AAG was so cute! Her name was Sarah, which Carrie told her was her neice's name, and she said she was in kindergarten so Carrie was like "Those were the days!" haha. Then the whole "Do you know the words? That's ok, I don't either, I make it up" thing came along lol. The girl did sing "All-American Girl" into the mic when Carrie put it there, so that was good & cute. I have video of this that came out really crappy but I think the audio is ok.

CD
I just love this song live. The video montage in the background is so cute, everyone was loving it and laughing at it.

Award montage- Omg my friends and I were in tears, and the audience was almost silent they were watching it and listening to Carrie's speeches so intently. Everyone just fell in love with her more and cheered at the right parts.

IYH clip
YAyyy everyone freaked out. Only thing... I felt like there was an awkwardly long gap between when the video stopped to when Carrie started singing IYH.

IKYW
People around me were seriously so amazed with her vocals. And then the rising up thing, everyone went wild and was like "WOAHHHHHH!!!" IKYW live never gets old, it's so bone-chillingly good.

DARN I'm running out of time before soccer lol, so I'm just going to get to her funny chatter stuff.

TMBIM- Hahaha she talked about it being tough to find a guy, and wanting someone to be her "last call", as in the last call she makes at night to say goodnight to. She was like "I use my phone to call my mom... that's about it" lol. And then she talked about the guys at the show having fun, and the ones that were dragged there by their girlfriends/spouses and they were probably clubbed over the head and dragged there lol. But she was like "It's BROWNIE POINTS, GUYS!" It was funny, everyone laughed so hard!

LOL and some kids ran up to the end of the catwalk with a huge "PRINCE CHARMING" sign that made Carrie laugh pretty hard. Something else had her laughing really hard before DFTRM, like laughing reallllly hard into the mic haha but I don't know what it was. She was joking around with her band members a lot last night, hitting and teasing them. It was so cute!

DFTRM- LOL she got sooooooo rambly. She talked about I think it was Mark, I can't even remember now... needing a haircut. She was like "We need... what's that show called... Shear Perfection?" (pretty sure she meant Shear Genius on Bravo lol) And I can't even remember what else she talked about. I have most of the funny stuff before the more generic "We've been on tour all year, we were with Keith Urban, this song makes us think of our families", etc. on video and I'm pretty sure it was a good 2+ minutes of her talking haha. Everyone thought she was so cute & funny!

Okay random but dissapointing- No Elvis move during LN lol

And of course the encore was crazy, everyone was dancing and having so fun! Apparently someone trumped my Red Sox jersey with a BU hockey jersey with her last name on the back. I think the school gave it to her though because no one in the M&G line gave it to her... everyone LOVED it though! And of course the BHC singing was so loud and fun and I got a ton of confetti And some of the band members ran through the aisle right next to me and other ones near the stage lol, with a microphone and I totally yelled the PC lyrics really loudly into it when Ed ran by holding it out hahahha. That was cool! And Jamie was standing on a speaker like 10 feet from us, wailing away!


It was such an amazing night. Incredible experience in meeting Carrie, awesome seats, a flawless performance as always by Carrie. The only thing I didn't love was how much time she spent on the upper, further-back part of the stage because it just seemed so far away. It was definitely a cool element to the stage, but I felt like she spent too much time back there.

What a huge difference it was, seeing her in February and seeing her now. The show is so much bigger and better, and Carrie herself seems more comfortable. She really didn't chat much in Providence but she was her rambling self in Boston last night lol.

My pictures are TERRIBLE, but my friend got better ones I'll post at some point, and I have some videos of AAG, TMBIM, and her DFTRM chatter.

Well from the Fan Club and then from spending like 1 1/2 hours with her at the M&G haha. We hit it off, she was so fun to talk to and now we have a Facebook wall-to-wall convo going lol.

That's so funny! All the guys at my school know I love Carrie and they say stuff like that just to bug me.
