It has just been confirmed by the official Arista Records site at Jrecords.com that Carrie's second album due out October 23rd will be called "Carnival Ride." As of now, no official CD cover has been released.

Mmmmm so exactly who has "confirmed" that is actually the album title. Yes it says Carnival Ride next to the release info, but i havent heard Carrie or anyone else confirm the fact. Seems kinda strange that she wouldnt mention a cd title on the fan club page...just my opinion.lol

Well there is a thread on the FC about the album title, and I think if it wasnt Carnival Ride, she would have posted something about it being bogus.

I dont know why there hasnt been an official press release stating this is in fact the title. Im hoping if it is, she changes it before it gets out!

But I think I will ease up to it, it just might take some time. its just so un-carrie like. Its more like something Kellie pickler would name her album hehe

hahaha...I agree about the Kellie pickler part...but that maybe why Carrie did it to change it up and do the unexpected...probably will get people wondering what the whole cd is like because the title is so different and sooo uncarrie like...i mean it's definitely a unique and odd title.
