I watched it, and enjoyed most of it. Carrie was beautiful and excellent in her hosting!!!

Forgot to say, I'm glad that they put the camera on her, for her part in the Jackson performance!

^Oh good that part was in it? I am
still watching it and was a bit bummed that they didn’t show much of Carrie’s Grammy stories except The Fighter.

^Carrie was the only one they showed in the MJ tribute. Like Rainbow, was so happy they did that.

I only had one complaint -- I like Dave Grohl OK, but would have happily given a bit of his time to hear one little mention of Alison Krause. Surely, the most Grammy awarded female had at least one Grammy worthy performance. The show focused on collaborations -- didn't she and R. Plank have a great performance and win 5 awards in one night?

^ lots of people got zero mention. Is No Kelly Clarkson or Miranda. Very little Taylor thank goodness. Lol

Not as much Adele as expected so that surprised me as I love her. But she was shown at least.

^True. Agree on TS this night, too. I remember that disastrous performance with Miley. They could have given that slot to Alison, lol.

it was to cover 60 years but I was disappointed it seemed to only focus on the last 20 or so.I wanted more older stuff. :-(

and mentioning The Fighter not when she sang with legend Tony Bennett is just odd.I mean Tony Bennett.Tony.Bennett.

but all in all given that they were I guess going for a younger demo it was an interesting & good show.

Totally agree! Would have loved to see that spotlighted performance with Tony Bennett. Pure magic. But glad she hosted and glad she got the coveted spot for the Michael Jackson tribute.

Why would they mention either one of them? Neither one have had a really 'special moment' on the show. From where I sat, they focused on artists that had a 'special moment' as well as having won more than a couple Grammys. In addition, many of the artists they focused on have been apart of some of the other Grammy specials as well as being in special moments during the actual Grammy award show.

I thought Carrie did a GREAT job. She looked beautiful(what color does she not look stunning in?) and she was wonderful as a host of the show. To me this shows how appreciated Carrie is within the WHOLE music world. Whether its singing or hosting, she's earned the reputation as being amazing and wonderful. I still think its fascinating that it was the Jackson family that requested Carrie, as well as the other artists, that were apart of and performed the special MJ tribute. They did so because they knew how much MJ liked Carrie and appreciated her talents.

I say, BRAVO Carrie!!!! Job well done!!!!

I was surprised that it was Carrie's part in the Michael Jackson tribute that they chose to highlight. Pleasantly surprised. I had thought Carrie might talk about her first time at the Grammys, like Alicia Keys did. It would have been cool if they had also shown Carrie's duet with Tony Bennett. It was so good.

I loved the show but was disappointed they didn't show more history. Would have loved to revisit Perry Como, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and other artists of the late 50's. Here are results of the very first Grammy awards.
