Got this program selected to record. Have to as I’ll likely not make it thru the entire thing with not starting until 9 pm.

I was thinking about this new special while I had a brief moment at work and I said to myself, man, Carrie really has done some awesome, awesome things with and at the Grammys. Just think of all the times she's performed on the show -- to this day I still watch her performance of BA/TBC with 'the dress' -- and after this new show airs, she will have participated in 3 of the specials. And then I said this out loud -- and she's done all this in her 12 year career!!!!!!!

If all of her and John's hosting segments are prerecorded, do you think they even recorded together? I'm kind of wondering if they will even be in the same "scene". I think it's a pretty good guess that he wasn't at the studio in Nashville, so unless they recorded a segment together elsewhere, I'm guessing their hosting bits may be separate.

    Believe that's 9 pm Eastern time. I set mine for 8 - 10 central.

    This is great!
I would love for them to sing together.
Otherwise, I am just happy we get Carrie for the Holidays!

I really hope they are in one scene together at least. That would be such a let down if they cohosted separately. That’s not really cohosting at all.

Me, too. I've been searching but can't find anything about taping performances/live audience, etc. Fingers crossed.

I'm thankful @carrieunderwood is on the mend now from her fall last week. After Thanksgiving, see Carrie do a characteristically beautiful job co-hosting @RecordingAcad's "Greatest #GRAMMYs Stories" 60th Special next Friday night on @CBS.

So I wonder which Grammy moment Carrie will share, assuming she is part of it and not just hosting? Personally I want it to be the Michael Jackson tribute. She has had alot of wonderful moments but that one, to me, was just phenominal.

maybe Carrie will share about her first appearance on the Grammys and all the controversy surrounding it.Probably not.lol

Three cheers again for the way Joe Galante always had her back.Even if he didn't always win.She may not have done her own song but she owned.I remember watching it form a hotel room in Knoxville and was wowed SAR,Desperado and LITFL...3 different styles delivered within 15 minutes and nailed them all.So fitting they gave her BNA right after. :-)

Joe was up in arms, and quite vocal about it, that the only country performers aside from DC on the show that year were not being allowed to sing their own songs

I wish they'd let Carrie perform 3 times in one Grammy show, again.

Joe was probably ok, after the way it worked out! That performance of Desperado was to die for...and the audience thought so too!!!
