This show is going to take on a whole new meaning after the Vegas Shootings. I hope they somehow incorporate that into the show to honor the victims as well as to provide Hurricane relief.

After selling out the approximate 20,000 seat arena, Country Rising added a second event, Country Rising: Downtown Jam at Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater, also on Nov. 12. The Downtown Jam will be hosted by SiriusXM's Storme Warren and include performances by Tucker Beathard, Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots, Bailey Bryan, Lindsay Ell, Chris Janson, Jon Pardi, Eric Paslay, Carly Pearce, Drake White and more.

I got the impression that it is planned more as a concert to raise money rather than a memorial. As such I would imagine the artists would play their big hits.

^ If I'm in the audience I want something new.A cover they've never done, an album cut, something.Just being another 'country stars sings their hits' concert is boring.

^ me too. I want a new cover or a collab with someone unexpected.

I guess I am just bored and want new music so badly. lol The CMA song was lovely and i will be listening to it forever now. But I still want proper new music asap-- or at least a new cover or charity collab.

I just read about it. Poor thing. It said she broke her wrist. That must be really painful.

the injury will 'take some time'

poor Carrie ,since she's performed a full concert in a boot this must be some injury.
wonder if she'll make the OK. HOF ceremony next week

Hopefully she’ll be fine other than a cast by next week. My guess is if this had been one of her own shows she would have sucked it up and performed. As she was one of many artists scheduled to perform tonight she probably felt it wouldn’t hurt the show for her to bow out. It kind of worries me they said it happened Friday night but they didn’t make the announcement until later yesterday evening. I’m probably being paranoid and they just waited for a decision on whether she was going to go on.

She might have needed surgery to repair the break.

From working in school and having had kids in school break an arm/wrist, I haven't seen one that has gotten a cast the first day. It usually is about a week before they can cast the arm.

I didn't know that. How do they keep it immobilized until the cast is put on?
