    55th Grammy Awards Predictions

Just partial. Not predicting every category.

    http://musicdnews.net/?p=122

    Best Country Solo Performance

    • “Blown Away”-Carrie Underwood
    • “Home”-Dierks Bentley
    • “Springsteen”-Eric Church
    • “Cost Of Livin’”-Ronnie Dunn
    • “Wanted”-Hunter Hayes
    • “Over”-Blake Shelton

The vocals on Carrie Underwood’s song are impressive, but the guys also have a lot of talent. Blake Shelton’s “Over” has a lot of potential and has earned him numerous awards last year. Our prediction is that Carrie Underwood will take it home with her latest hit.

Thanks. Basically, everyone is predicting Carrie to win Solo Performance. I'm not holding my breath, though.

Based on online sources that I have read so far...
Carrie and Eric are the hot picks
    Little mention on Blake.
    1 predicted Hunter.

I am getting so stressed for Carrie. I had a dream last night that she won for solo performance. I hope it's going to be true! LOL.

Gosh isn't it sad that we can't be happy about award shows anymore or even have hope for a win? It is like they have crushed our spirits. I hate it!

I hate the way they are treating Carrie. It is making me doubt that she will ever win another award ever.

I sure hope so. It has been a long long long long looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooong dry spell for Carrie and industry awards.

freakin annoying CMA voters. I despise them to my core.

Agree. I will be really annoyed if Blake wins right now. But I really want Carrie to win.

All these predictions need to be taken with a grain of salt.

I am so nervous, because this is the first time in a long time that I've actually felt Carrie has a really good shot at winning. But I'm too afraid to actually get my hopes up because they've been dashed so many times the last few years.

I think Springsteen is her biggest competition. But I feel like BA just stands out that extra little bit - because of Carrie's performance. Nobody else could've done the song justice.

^ sadly I agree with you James as Carrie seems to lose anyway, even when she is predicted to win. But I will say it is nice to see people picking her to win as that at least shows she is in the running.

BA stands out WAY MORE than just a little bit from the pack. Springsteen is over-rated and always has been. I think people liked it so much because it is about the Boss. lol It is a good song-- but not as good as its hype.

But the country voters will never vote for Carrie---- so her only hope of winning is if the non-country voters pick her as they are more open minded and less hateful then Nashville voters.

When Just A Dream lost to White Horse last time at the Grammys, I honestly lost hope for Carrie to win at the Grammys again. I am just being real. I'm not really expecting anything at all.
