Carrie Underwood sells her Franklin home for a whopping 372 grand

Country superstar Carrie Underwood is moving on up and not to the east side. The American Idol alum, who was crowned the champ back in 2005, purchased her 2,956-square-foot home in Franklin, Tenn. soon after her glorious win. The three-bedroom, three and a half bath abode features a spacious kitchen, hardwood floors, garage, fireplace and originally cost the singer a swooping $384,000. Seven years later, the "Two Black Cadillacs" chanteuse has sold the house for an impressive $372,000, according to TMZ.

To-date, Underwood has sold over 15 million albums and roughly 25 million digital downloads, certainly warranting a change of scenery. Plus, the Oklahoma native married her professional hockey-playing husband Mike Fisher (the Nashville Predators) in 2010 in a lavishly quiet wedding. Together, the loving couple dropped $3.2 million in 2011 to build their dream house on the outskirts of Nashville, making Music City their official home.

Would love to see pics of the $3.2 million dollar home, but I believe that's one part of Carrie's life that she keeps immensely private.

Dude, even according to your own article, she has "put the house on the market" it doesn't say she sold it.

The 3.2 million is the land they haven't built on yet....I think.

$372k ... $3.2 million ... didn't realize real estate is that cheap in the Nashville area. In my neck of the woods, those are down payments. Real estate here is at least triple of that.

Wish I could afford that house! I'd make it the Carrie Fans headquarters and we could all drop in anytime.

Seriously, though, the pictures of the interior are really beautiful.

Yes it's good considering it's not favorable to the sellar right now with the way the housing industry is right now. Lot of other homes get even less.

It is good considering the state of the housing market where the value of houses are in the tank. She didn't lose much on that house so it is considered really good in this day and age where people are losing a lot on their homes just to get them to sell

I, too, am surprised that she sold it for less than she bought it. I know the housing bubble burst since she made the original purchase, so therefore it is not worth as much, but I would have thought the realtor could have cashed in on the "former home of Carrie Underwood" thing...

Well. Carrie could of asked the Realtor not to use that and went through a private sale like they are doing with their Ottawa home.

You are probably right. That sounds like Carrie - very classy, indeed. She probably didn't want to earn more than the property was worth in its own right.
