    Thanks, D!

Good review. Why is the encore either absent or inaccurate in reviews.

    What??:
For an encore, she sang the title track from "Blown Away" about a woman who deliberately leaves her man behind as a tornado strikes. As the storm struck the stage, blowing confetti debris into the crowd, Underwood took refuge in a cellar.

    What??:

When she leaves the stage at the end she goes down the door to the house that was used at the beginning. Which to some could be perceived as a cellar. It is just the writers way of being cute I guess

Has an occurrence of this event ever been scientifically documented?

Were there really 16,000 people? Because 16,000 is right at Key Arena's concert maximum capacity. I was looking at the tickets available compared to the number of seats the venue says they have for concert seating for the stops we've already gotten boxscores from, and most had several thousand fewer seats available compared to the max capacity. So I wonder if they just pulled the official numbers (16,000 for max seat capacity) and didn't factor in the seats that were closed off.

I'm bad at guessing, but I would have guessed there were about 8,000 people or so there last night.

Sweet! Gotta love Seattle! They understand good music as a tradition.

16000 sounds great but I bet it is a bit lower due to the stage. Still the numbers are much better lately then those awful 6k ones.

Another tidbit from the post was the comment about the audience singing along!! So so true. It was awesome how many songs everyone sang along to and they were so loud that only a powerhouse voice like Carrie's would have risen above it. That had to please her that everyone was in sync in singing and knowing all the words!!

More and more with each tour, it's becoming more obvious that's Carries a very popular west coast/northern artist. It's sad when someone like Carrie underwood is too edgy for some people in the south LOLBecca

I thought the only southern concerts were Nashville and Louisville and both had good attendance.

Washington had its first(?) 3-day country music festival this past summer (Watershed 2012 at The Gorge) that had a pretty big turn out (I never figured out how many people attended, but I would guess 20,000). My sister went to the pop music festival they had here too and she said the country festival had more people. But this shows that there is definitely a demand for country music here in the Pacific Northwest.

Very cool! I am thrilled it was a success for Carrie. Seattle is a very big music city, right? I always hear that alot of artists live there. So it is very cool that Carrie had such a good turn out.
