    Top 40 Country Songs – October 2012

[COLOR="#0000FF"]The Top 10 spots in this list of the Top 40 Country Songs in October 2012 are all superstars. Luke Bryan, Eric Church and Miranda Lambert are just three with new singles competing for the No. 1 spot. However, it was a newcomer that snuck past everyone to grab the flag with a ballad that’s been among the most downloaded, most requested songs of the year.

Carrie Underwood made a strong push with her new hit ‘Blown Away,’ but ultimately, she has to settle for the No. 2 spot on this October list. Meanwhile, last month’s No. 1 song on the Top 40 Country Songs lineup slips to No. 6. But that’s okay, as Little Big Town have another song inside the Top 40. Watch out for another newcomer this fall — Florida Georgia Line‘s ‘Cruise’ is a song you’re glad you can’t get out of your head. The duo make a remarkable leap to the Top 5.

The list of the Top 40 Country Songs for October 2012 is compiled from Billboard chart data and sales figures, in addition to staff opinion and reader feedback.

Good to see Hunter abd Carrie at#1 & #2. Does anybody other than myself detest Eric Church's Creepin'? I like him, have an album if his, saw him in concert even had a meet and greet, BUT I just can not stand that song. Maybe it is the video, but the whole thing is not for me.

I'm with you on 'Creepin'. I actually do not like FGIT either, but I'm probably in the minority on that one.
