If you look at Clark's and Underwood's individual album sales, they both have sold more albums than the other winners combined. Eight other seasons' worth of winners.

IMHO, Jessica Sanchez or any girl given a shot at the finale and winning the competition will bring back the show's credibility as a singing competition--not a popularity contest. That a girl with vocals like that can still win over a white guy with guitar. People say, Phillip Phillips is better because he is more of a contemporary artist. So were Lee Dewyze, Kris Allen, Scotty McCreery and David Cook and yet, they didn't sell as much as the female winners. Though Scotty did get to platinum with his debut album and David Cook can actually sing his ass off. It's just it would be very good if a better singer can actually win over a popular performer (who I think will never be supported by his voting fans anyway after the show) like what happened to Carrie and Bo.

The fact that Carrie & Kelly are the shows biggest all time sellers is just another reason why despite what some on here think there is NOT a conspriacy by the show to get Phillip to win.
