Batter up! The City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge, which is the unofficial kickoff to CMA Music Fest, has revealed its famous players for this year's game. Carrie Underwood, Scotty McCreery, Brantley Gilbert, Lauren Alaina, David Nail, James Otto, Robin Meade, Scott Hamilton, Chuck Wicks, Whitney Duncan, Bucky Covington, Sarah Darling, Billy Gilman, Kristen Kelly and Two Foot Fred will be divided into two teams: the Grand Ole Opry versus AfterMidnite With Blair Garner.

I think so too, the reason why none were listed is because they were hoping to be still playing.

I picked a freaking awesome year to go to CMA Fest. So glad I decided to go this year instead of last year. lol

Tues. June 5: Carrie's FCP (which should be even more amazing this year since the album is so new!)
Tues. June 5: Two Opry shows that night
Wed. June 6: CMT Awards (which Carrie should be performing at and dominating this year! )
Fri. June 8: Carrie at LP Field
Sat. June 9: Carrie (and probably Mike) playing the softball game!

I wish the softball game was still on Wednesday but the CMT awards decided they wanted to be on that day now. Baring injury I'm sure Mike will play at the game. They always have predators at the game and he'd be the obvious choice.
