So, which shoes are Carrie Underwood's goodbye shoes? Red, black or silver? My head is spinning after watching her new video for "Good Girl." She is wearing seven different outfits and all kinds of shoes. Goodbye and otherwise. But once you hear her explaining the concept of the video, it all makes perfect sense. "I'm sure we've all been this girl before, who just believes the best in the man that she's with, no matter what," she says in the behind-the-scenes video on her website. "Even when people are like, 'What's wrong with you?'" The video, Underwood says, is kind of about a girl's dual personalities. One's good, one is knowledgeable. That's the one Underwood calls Dark Carrie. She isn't truly bad. She is jus t trying to give the good girl some knowledge. Open up her eyes, find out why she's got to be so blind and convince her to get her goodbye shoes on. Then there's Good Carrie, who is the one in the sweet and innocent outfits (because Underwood didn't think it would be right to make her geeky and ugly). By the end of the video, both sides of the girls come together and, hopefully, knowledge trumps innocence.

A little late and not much of a review from Alison...but i'm not surprised...the great success of 'Good Girl' doesn't need Alison's endorsement. Alison, for me, is kind of a strange bird ....she sometimes posts positive comments about things that are 'incidental' to Carrie's career but when something major comes along, like the release of a new single/video, she either doesn't comment or her comments appear somewhat sarcastic...like the one here. By the way, has she posted anything about 'Good Girl' the single?

Great article. I'm glad we're seeing a different side to Carrie. She's a versatile artist, but she always stays true to who she is. She never fails to deliver to her fans. She's amazing.
