Awesome!

In three-and-a-half minutes, Underwood surprised me more than any country recording since “Giddy On Up”, and without any of the accompanying camp. I’ve always been a fan of hers, because Glory to God in the Highest That Voice, but I never suspected that she’d be this relentlessly creative.
An absolutely exhilarating record.

Nice read - love to see these bloggers surprised at her creativity - she's just scratching the surface - it's interesting to read all the opinions of country true bloods - it seems everyone wants Carrie to do the kind of songs they like and if she doesn't they get annoyed with her - she has this voice and everybody wants a piece of it - good for Carrie to just do what she likes , keeps the music honest

Wow, this reviewer said EXACTLY the way I felt about the song. It has so many levels to it and when you think it's going in one direction it goes in another. It's so "in your face" and there's nothing like this on the radio right now, not even on pop.

So happy about this. Universe can be really hard on Carrie. Everyone can be really hard on Carrie.
But this review is just gut blowingly honest. Good Girl is a complete surprise. Everything you expect from Carrie and yet a total surprise.
So happy that she is leaving the critics blown!
