Country Universe Review - Grade A

It is very interesting going back into the reviewers other reviews over the year. First I don't get any sense of bias in his reviews. He will praise an artist for one song and rip them to shreads for another song. I see good and bad reviews for traditional country and contempory country. And it is clear he is not afraid to state his honest opinion - good or bad. He appears to be very open-minded about the music and simply states what he likes and what he doesn't. That is what you want in a reviewer. And a grade of A is rare enough that it means something when he actually give you an A is his review.

Kenny, thank you for posting this wonderful article. I totally love the review. I especially love the ending, A Capella, of Good Girl because the best part of Carrie's music is her voice...love it.

Carrie does have an amazing voice. I love when Carrie sings a capella.

Actually they have been very nice to Carrie. They have reviewed all her singles since Wasted except for Temporary Home. And they reviewed her 3 American Idol tracks. All the reviews have been done by Kevin John Coyne except for Last Name which was reviewed by Leeann Ward. The best review was an A+ for I'll Stand By You. The worst is a B- for Cowboy Casanova.

For the singles not reviewed, Jesus Take The Wheel (#36) and Before He Cheats (#4) made their Greatest Singles Of The Decade list. Temporary Home was #34 of the Best Singles Of 2010.

Not only that he is married to a RICH, WITH INDESCRIBABLE BEAUTY, GREAT HUMAN BEING, and SUBSTANTIAL ARTIST "Carrie Underwood", but, ALSO because of his guts, grit, and talent that have brought HIM SUCCESS. Mike said that his power comes FROM ABOVE - like Carrie, he puts his FAITH IN CHRIST FIRST and has demonstrated his LOVE for GOD both, on and off the ice.

The EXAMPLES set by people, LIKE "Carrie Underwood" and "Mike Fisher" - the "Thomas Jefferson" and "James Madison" of "LIFE AND CAREER" - SET A HIGH STANDARD OF VALUES and performances. "What do we stand for and why do we exist?" - Carrie and Mike always ask, and they never change these, and then, they change everything else as the world around them changes. My local DJ went to CRS and called from Nashville saying that Carrie's new song was AWESOME and made his partner play it right away! Looks like another radio mega-hit!!!

"Mike Fisher" pretty much had it made and still going strong, still improving TO GREATNESS, DESPITE HIS AGE. WHY? Because of his DISCIPLINE to NOT COMPROMISE HIS STANDARDS, for the *SAKE OF EXPEDIENCY*!!! LIKE "Carrie Underwood", in everything they do, they take THE LONG VIEW. ALWAYS!!! But, they seek to do very well in the short-term and very well in the long-term. THEY SEEK TO BE HIGHLY IDEALISTIC AND HIGHLY PROFITABLE, both at the same time. Mike once doubted ever coming back at one point because he is supposed to be getting better and he was not and then he got hurt again in 2003 - 2004 SEASON. Mike said in his book, "Defender Of Faith", DURING THE UNUSUAL AMOUNT OF TIME AT HOME, MIKE WAS HANGING OUT WITH GOD. Mike, as an EXPERIENCED VETERAN for twelve years and going to thirteen after this season, had a GUARANTEED CONTRACT, was well-liked by teammate and adored by FANS. He plays, NOW, for the Nashville Predators, was an alternate captain for the Ottawa Senators, *COMPETED IN THE "STANLEY CUP FINALS" (Almost got the Stanley Cup by Mike and the PREDATORS, but, everything happened for a reason.) And Mike has been nominated for the SELKE TROPHY as the best defensive forward in the league.
