Yeah, me either! I guess they just wanted to show women can be strong, independent people who make their names known in their own way and do not rely on their husbands/boyfriends to make them known.
It just kind of defies that ever-so cliche view that men are the moneymakers and women play the "stay-at-home" role. But that is so old and outdated and cliche that nobody believes that anymore.
It's really pointless these days because women are the ones you see taking over music, movies, etc!![]()
This article is completely pointless, and incredibly rude, IMO. It's seemed to me the author was implying that these ladies are "better" than their their husbands because they're more famous.
If you're going to include famous ladies, at least include someone other than Carrie Prejean to gain back any credibility you may have had.
This kind of thing really gets on my nerves.![]()
