    Amphitheater adds Underwood, Jackson

Amphitheater adds Underwood, Jackson | StarTribune.com

Call it momentum. Or the call of country music. Or: Who could turn down Carrie Underwood?
Mystic Lake Casino is so carried away with its new temporary amphitheater that on Thursday it announced two extra shows, both surefire sellouts -- Underwood Sept. 3 and Alan Jackson Sept. 17. Another concert is already sold out: the Beach Boys on July 31.

WOW Daisy----so happy for you. I really want Carrie to play the Riverfront here in Cincy. It is a big place and about 20 minutes from where I live. I have gone to see 4 of her concerts and can't wait to see another one.

I believe this is not actually in the casino this time. It sounds like an new ampitheater. I am going to Ravinia the next day or I would make a run up to Chuck and Judy's, lol.

If you're under 18 you have to accompanied by an adult. However as was already stated this isn't really a casino venue.. they built a new amphitheater recently as a way to try to get bigger acts to come.

They haven't even built the amphitheater yet, this venue is just a temporary one while they see if it's feasible to build one.
With acts like Carrie of course it is.

SOS appears to be the opener for this concert.

This VENUE is SIMILAR to "Puyallup Fair Amphitheater with 10,360-seats CAPACITY (SOLD OUT for Carrie's Show)", the way StarTrbune.com is describing it. Although Mystic Amphitheater is SMALLER, 8,357-seats CAPACITY and ONLY TEMPORARY. I used this to compare to Mystic because I REMEMBER THAT YOU ALSO WENT TO "PUYALLUP FAIR IN PUYALLUP, WASHINGTON, TWICE", like me. I saw your REVIEW at our OFC.

SOME PEOPLE are wondering, why Carrie is still accepting SMALLER VENUES? Carrie's "GOALS": "PROFITS" and "JOY". Yes, Carrie is INVESTING MORE ENERGY, but, she is ALSO ENJOYING IT. MORE THAN 120 cities per year in 2008 and 2010 as a "HEADLINER" (BIG and SMALL VENUES). That is ONE of the "SECRETS OF LONGEVITY" ...... Using "TIME", "ENERGY" and "IMAGINATION"!!!

I really believe Carrie is thinking of the fans rather than herself. Smaller venues bring you closer. Fans wouldn't have to travel so far.
