    Meanwhile, Thursday night at Equinox, country music sensation Carrie Underwood was seen having an early, and healthy, dinner with about nine of her staff. A Yeas & Nays spy tells us the gorgeous gal ordered haricot verts with toasted almonds and heirloom tomatoes as her entree. She was dressed casually in jeans, a tan-colored T-shirt and shades.

    Carrie blogged that she went to DC sight seeing and to the White house the day before her Annapolis MD show at the naval academy.

    haricots are any type of bean pods

    specifically, haricot verts are green beans

    So why can't they just say "green beens"?? That other name sounds weird and kinda nasty!!

    you give a dish a french name if you can. haricot verts sounds like a more expensive dish than green beans.

    I love calamari too. I just have to block out from my mind what it actually is that I'm eating. haha. I don't do well with seafood. It tastes good, but I don't like the thought of what I'm eating.
