It was a historic night at the Grand Ole Opry house. Tonight, Carrie Underwood, and other stars gathered to turn the Opry pink in support of the Susan G. Komen foundation. At the beginning of the show, Carrie came on stage (dressed in pink, of course) and flipped the switch to turn the house pink!
Carrie said while no one in her family has been affected by breast cancer, it’s still important to support the cause. She told Music City TV,
“Some of us are here because they’ve been through it and they support each other. Some of us are here, because we don’t want go though it so, we’re here to support also, the women who have lived through cancer.”
There's also a video on the page with Carrie giving an interview talking about the Opry turning Pink. And Robin Roberts says that Carrie invited her to come to the Opry.

How cool. I bet she asked her when they did that interview together or documentary or whatever it was.

Awwww....great, amazing cause. Carrie has a good head on her shoulders. And Terri was right. Why shouldn't she be there?
The end made me sad. Just...idk...my mom has/had cancer (although not breast cancer) and she survived but like...what if she didn't??? But, overall, nice interview. Thanks for posting.
