I think Carrie's best chance is to be booked as part of a country fest so she doesn't have to worry about filling up too many venues, her first time out. It is far easier to be part of a festival or fair with other country acts.

It all depends when she was here.

From Mid November through early Feb is non ratings period for TV so all the night time variety shows would be off the air.

I think she would go on one of the breakfast shows such as Sunrise which would be similar to your GMA.

Keith Urban often goes on them and they have a stage set up in a plaza in the
centre of Sydney where artists perform a couple of songs.
These shows are also broadcast nationally so that would be great exposure.

We have MTV in Australia but they pretty well only show videos,no talk show as such.

I would imagine she would do some appearances on radio shows but this all depends on Sony.

Unless things still have to be finalized, it doesn't look like she will be going down under (or anywhere outside NA) this year. It's less than three weeks away from her 6-week break, and nothing has been announced yet.

It's a shame. 5 weeks could be split up between Australia/Asia (possibly) and the UK/Europe.

I guess we can always hope for early next year...unless she starts work on album 3.

Has anybody asked about this on the FC?

It is deathly quiet on the fanclub. Nothing new about JAD, no promo news for JAD, etc- and no news of any kind about Australia or otherwise.

many of us have asked this question on the "ask carrie" section but I think they cannot answer it until it is official.

I just can't see Carrie doing nothing for 6 weeks. She is too hard of a worker- and no one takes 6 weeks off.

There has to be a reason she has 6 weeks off.

I love how they just randomly throw in that she was linked to Chace Crawford. Like, the article has nothing to do with her personal life at all, and they just randomly throw in that they were romantically linked.
