The near record sold out crowd for the Carrie Underwood concert Saturday night is a huge success for operators of Ford Park.

Carrie underwood took the stage just before nine tonight. Some country music fans traveled a pretty good distance to see the American Idol winner . The concert was not only good for Ford Arena, it also turned out good for southeast Texas hotels, restaurants, and other businesses.

I was there, and if she comes back, I'll go again!!! My group was only 8 people, but at work, one of the people I was with overheard someone say that they were going in a group of 95!!!!!!! I was like daaaaaaaaaaaaang, LOL!!!! It was huge for this area. I hope she comes back again.
