Carrie's CMA Fest highlights were broadcast on BBC Radio 2 this past week.
There's a VERY short interview at the beginning, & she then performs Undo It & Cowboy Casanova.
You can listen to the show here: BBC - Music Showcase - Just Added, It should be available for the next 28 days.
For anyone that's interested, there's also highlights from other artists such as Blake Shelton, The Band Perry, Faith Hill, Hunter Hayes etc. that you can listen to by selecting them from the right hand side![]()
Thanks, CarrieUK.
The BBC giving four nights of highlights is certainly appreciated.
We can't have everything, of course, but I would have hoped they'd broadcast something from Carrie's new album (even though one of those is a bonus track on the UK special edition.) I don't know what else Carrie performed at the Festival, but several of the tracks on BA seem to me much more memorable than those two songs. I wonder why they, in particular, were chosen?
^^ I'm getting the media request problem too.
Farawayhills, she sang GG and BA but I suspect that they're unable to secure the rights because ABC will be broadcasting those on CMAFest Country's Night to Rock on their own network. This is the one that the UK should have broadcast if they could have.
Thanks, Opry that must be the reason. (Any follow up to Carrie's successful visit here is a good thing - maybe we'll get the TV show as well eventually!)
If the Showcase clips don't work outside the UK, it's possible that the whole show may play on the listen now button on this page (worth a try, but I can't guarantee it will work):
BBC - BBC Radio 2 Programmes - Categorised as Music: Country
Each segment lasts an hour. Carrie is in Episode 2
Blown Away was amazing to hear live at CMA Fest. The album was only a month old at that point and the BA single had yet to come out, so I was surprised to hear so many people singing along. Everyone around me LOVED BA.
I listed on the radio station on line.
