Sirius Radio: Carrie's Ten Songs That Blow Her Away

Tonight on the Highway, Carrie took over the station for almost an hour and counted down her ten favorite songs that Blow her Away. They were all different artists and even different genres.. But they played the songs anyway even if they were not country. .

Carrie Gave a little commentary before each song too which was cool.

Unfortunately i only heard her top two songs out of ten as i missed the first 8. Lol but they are reairing it tomorrow at 11:00 am est.....so i will list the rest of the songs tomorrow.

For now- carrie listed her top two songs as:

    1. Dolly Parton- I Will Always Love You
    2. Billy Holiday- God Bless the Child
    3. Save the World- Swedish House Mafia (see video to understand why- lol)
    4. When I Get Where I'm Going: Dolly & Brad Paisley
    5. Motley Crue- Kick Start My Heart
    6. Matchbox 20- Push
    7. Bob Dylan- Blowin in the Wind
    8. Helena- My Chemical Romance
    9. Bryan White- Your Love isThe Right Place
    10. David Cook- We Believe

***they also played Good Girl AND BLOWN AWAY in the middle of the countdown! It was great to hear Blown Away on the radio!

    --- to be continued...

Interesting "I will always love you" by Dolly not by Whitney? And Billie Holiday, that goes way way back. Carrie's musical tastes are surely varied and very interesting. Tee, thanks for this info. I look forward to Carrie's other 8 favorites. I would never have guessed Billie Holiday.

Those two songs are amazing. In terms of emotion, I prefer Dolly's I Will Always Love You over Whitney's. God Bless The Child is a great song, and Billie's vocal is perfect.

Dolly put more emotion into the song. She sang it at the end of her show and had tears in her eyes my mom said.

Push is probably my favorite Matchbox 20 song behind Back 2 Good. I love how eclectic this list is.

I love how Carrie promotes David Cook every chance she gets. She obviously believes in her very talented friend. We Believe is a great song.
I like most of Carrie's list, but I still can't stand that Swedish House Mafia song lol.
