Why do people keep trying to create something ugly? Carrie and Miranda have never shown anything but respect for each other. Why is it so hard to believe that they can be friendly and respectful to each other despite the fact that they are competitors?

I think this is all sweet but I may be one of the few but I wish it had not happen. I think there is a lot of room to be negative about it. If Taylor Swift did this with a young kid, many people would be all over it about it being inappropriate. I think as an adult you have to be real careful in what you do w/ young kids. The sooner this dies down will not be soon enough for me.

The biggest difference is marital status. Carrie even mentions her husband being in the house. Also, the fact that she has the kid close his eyes was nice too. She went out of her way to make it clinical as possible, yet still fulfilled a boy's dream. I do not think there has been nor should there be any controversy over it. The boy's father was in attendance and allright with it. It is not like they will ever see one another again. Sometimes things are just what they appear to be....a very sweet gesture. There was absolutely nothing sexual about it.
