One thing about it you can count on Carrie giving a little bit of everything on an album. I think that is why I love her albums. I do not get bore with them .

Well all of this sounds perfect. Ecspecially "A lot of storytelling on the upcoming album; really descriptive lyrics". I've always felt Carrie's weakest part in the songs she's co-written has been description and imagery ("Oklahoma Wind" being an exception, that song is perfect). So reading this makes me hopeful. Also I love darker songs so I'm all over this body-count thing...

And like many here, I am very glad to heard Carrie's comment on storytelling on the album. That is something that I wanted more of in the previous albums.
I agree, because her exact quote is "kinda naughty, very rocking....LOTS OF ROCKING STUFF".

The "lots of rocking stuff" seems to indicate she's talking about the album...Confused.

And yes, I'm glad to hear the "descriptive, story-telling" part too. Reminds me of songs like JTTW, TNB(LGO), LN, TH, and BHC (to some extent) all of which are awesome songs

Awesome guess! I could be wrong but if carrie was referring to Good Girl as naughty then it would fit your theory.

I actually really like that twist so i hope it is true. Lol

It would be a really unexpected turn of events in the song.

Agree! I think what made mamas song fall a little short was the lack of powerful descriptive lyrics. There was a story kind of but they needed stronger lyrics.

I wonder if the really country song is Leave Love Alone?

I think the body count comment was for the dark songs-- and i think they will be Gone Too Soon or 2 Black Cadillacs.

I kind of hope her death songs touch on teen bullying and suicide as she did that psa with mike about teen suicide. That coukd be a real powerful message.

Agree. I personally dont mind all the different subject matters being on one album but i do hope the songs flow together better then the po songs did. There were so many great songs on po but they were kind of all over the place so they didnt flow as nice as there was no apparent theme etc.

So i just hope this album is a solid cohesive unit that flows nice even if the subject matter and style is all over the place.

That's good to know. I'm interested in hearing Carrie's new material. I think this may turn out to be her best album to date. I hope so anyway.

What does "body count" mean? Lol

I'm happy with everything she said.

WAW is Wine After Whiskey, not to be confused with Wheel of the World, WOW, from Carnival Ride. lol

The lyrics are amazing and Carrie wrote it with that Shapiro writer, who said he has a cut on this album. Carrie is listed as a performer on the song, though we have no confirmation this song made the cut over other Shapiro cowrites.
